  1. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? We have heard no other reports of this issue following this release. I'm seeing the same issue as well. Everything was working OK with Geocaching 2.2.x and even 2.3 when I first installed it. I decided to wipe my data and reload GC 2.3. Now, I get a wrong date/time error when I try to login even though my phone's settings are correct. I too am having the same issue , I have uninstantiated and re installed and the issue remains it says - your device / time may be incorrect - but it is not my time IS correct GMT when more than one get the same issue i think the update has a flaw in it to allow this to happen . please can you let me and others know how to resolve this issue so we can use our androids
  2. I must admit I like both , with someone who has limited mobility long country walks and difficult terrain is impossible for me but I am lucky that the location I live in there are some great urban and country areas
  3. Hi Folks , I hope you dont mind me asking this question , I am new to posting my own caches only posted one previously but I have 2 waiting to be reviewed since Saturday . Does it usually take this long to be reviewed ? or is that normal time scale for caches to be reviewed ? I have sent a PM to the reviewer who posted my first cache but they have not got back to me , I understand that the reviewers are all volunteers so that is why I am asking on time scale any advice would be most welcome Regards WeeGieOcacher
  4. It was my 18th Cache and was questions by the Police ( in fact it was Armed police ) as to what i was up to - after I explained what I was doing I asked them if they wanted to help me locate the cache but they declined my offer before that I have had a few strange looks from passers by and dog walkers but many of the passing dogs like to come and say hello and sniff about what you are doing , wonder if its their way of asking can i help
  5. why do I keep getting a pop up that says The page at www.geocaching.com says - and in the box it says Yes and how do I stop it as it is very annoying
  6. I am sure that many or even just some experienced members when they were beginning Geocaching wanted to hide caches when they have only found a few , as someone already stated there are experienced members who post not so good caches , however everyone's definition of a good cache is different " whats good for the goose may not be good for the gander " , and then it comes down to ability some members ( including myself ) have disabilities that make it difficult to get to some locations so if D/T was included that would be discriminatory . and there is also the preference choice , what cache do you prefer to go for , some like searching regular , small , and others may prefer micro , nano so I think to have a minimum limit on finding before posting is wrong and hope that members will learn what is a good and not so good cache will their experience grows over time thats my 2 pennies worth - hope everyone has a great new years and best wishes for 2012 FH143
