  1. I'm not against reading a longer log as long as it isn't trying to sell me anything.
  2. Howdy All, I'm going to be in Salt Lake City for a few days and will have some free evening/night time to do a little caching. I have scoped out a little industrial area just west of the SLC Airport that looks like could get me a bunch of finds. Any advice on some other nearby areas with a better than average cache count that would be good for an evening visit? I have a car.
  3. Just to update everyone (like you haven't heard this story before) I have released 3 travel bugs: #1 - 2 stops then whole cache stolen #2 - 1 stop then contents of cache stolen #3 - 0 stops, picked up by a newbee the next day, cache never logged, TB logged as discovered when they grabbed it. My Average TB lifespan = 1 stop #4 - how long will it last????????????????????
  4. You must work at the same place I do. .
  5. Agreed, as long as you don't say irregardless, alot, or disorientated (they are not words)
  6. Looking for a ruling on this: I unknowingly visited and Earthcache a few months before I started Geocaching. I visited the exact place of the geocache, I talked with my kids about the geography of the area, I can answer the CO's questions, and even took a picture of the family on the sign that I need to email to the CO for validation. Is this a cache I can Log? My initial thought is no since I wasn't playing "the Game" at the time of my visit but the game isn't so much about the rules as it is the learning and experiencing so I'm just not sure. Any opinions? are the official guidelines on this? -
  7. I just released my first travel bug into the wild. Anyone want to guess how long it lasts before it disappears for good? let's hope I get my five bucks worth. Typical Seattle Driver (TB4JCXZ)
