  1. We would love to be in on this.....great coin!
  2. We had a mysterious silver envelope in our mailbox yesterday too!! I don't have a picture but the other side says "Seasons Greetings!" with the same initials that was on the envelope....not sure exactly what they are... HH or maybe JJH????? Anybody got a clue about the initials??? Many thanks mystery person, you brought a big ol' to our faces!!
  3. Change is good, but should we all read Fifty Shades of Grey to understand this change? That would be a really good idea! If everyone is reading that book they certainly won't be in here complaining!!
  4. A whole bunch of AA batteries, the more the better Half a dozen or so ammo cans for future hides Swag to put in those ammo cans would be nice Nice weather in January, February and March so we can put in some time outside caching.... or then again how about a plane ticket to somewhere warm???
  5. Thanks for the heads up on that, I signed up for one....fingers crossed!
  6. We would love to help, email on the way!
  7. Not a remarkable hide but a very interesting place that we never would have found without geocaching.... GC1Z4Y5..... "Bowling Ball Art Farm" in Oklahoma, it really is worth a stop!
  8. Ours swam in with the rain this morning, really nice looking coins!!
  9. Congrats to you and your coin drneal! Ours got lost but you just never know when they might turn up again! Sorry to hear of your doggie problems, Dude sends a woof your way.
  10. (Linky things aren't working for me so I'll do some copy and Paste) Check out this coin that was just logged, I thought it was a goner for sure. In May of 2010 it was marked missing by a cache owner, here is the log that just came in from it- "found at a garage sale in Meridian Idaho-- will be traveling next week and if I can find a cache in china or korea- will drop off there--- that will be quite a flight!" I wonder how much they had to pay for it , I'll have to drop them a note of thanks and inquire about that!
  11. I sure hope I haven't missed out on the reservations, those are really nice looking!!
  12. I don't think I want to live anywhere near where you do!
  13. Ya got me all teared up on this one, I hope to get one!
  14. Found this early this morning, my eyes aren't working quite right yet I hope I got my order in!
  15. Between yesterday and today I went through my trackables...I lost count of how many I had to mark as missing, at least 40 of them...coulda been more. Another 23 have been held by a cacher for anywhere from 4 to 11 months. I don't think I want to release anymore trackables.
  16. Remember the thread(s) about missing TB's/geocoins?? We had one that I mentioned- a cacher had picked it up on 6/9/11, He had been taking it caching all over since then, so many pages of visits! Well, I decided to drop him a note asking that the coin be dropped off so that another cacher could have the fun of finding a geocoin in a cache. Here is the coin in question-<can't get a linky to work)....he dropped it on the 20th, the next person to the cache on the 22nd says "coin not in cache!" so- Be careful if you decide to write to a cacher, it could just kill your bug!
  17. The difference in our case is that the cacher has been carrying our geocoin around for 8 months. I agree that people should try to get them back out into the wild in a timely fashion, at times in your life other things may come up...winter can dampen your caching habits, health problems, family issues. This paticular person (for us) has been taking the geocoin on all kinds of caching trips, they just don't drop it I would agree that you should get some more travelors out there, the more you have the odds are better to get some good logs from some of them. We have over 150 TB's/geocoins out there, lots go missing but then again they will show back up again when you least expect it! I have written a note to the cacher involved with our coin, we'll see what happens.
  18. How would you handle this problem- A cacher picked up one of our geocoins in June of 2011. He takes it to caches all the time but never drops it in one. There are about 40 pages of his moving taking it to cache after cache, it is nice that it is getting milage but really....to never drop it??
  19. I'm hoping for reservations!!
  20. The dog is being listed on craigs list as we type.....
  21. <jumping up and down with a silly grin on my face> I got one, I got one, I got one!!!!! I just got back from my mailbox where an envelope to me from me was waiting for me....how exciting!! It only took the other yooper a few minutes to puzzle out the message. Thanks mystery person, I'll have a goofy grin on today!
  22. What a great surprise...love it!!
  23. Any word on where this mission may be??
