  1. Just the other day I said "I hate playgrounds" this one was empty...but I did see a teenage girl run in the house after my car had been there a while. Tanks are a pain too. (or is that cause there isn't one nearby to hide a cache on?) Rock piles are the same. The cords are always off and the clue just calls you a loser for not finding the cache. (one in Newton that way) But as far as being picky....I live in a rural area...any cache that pops up I'm going after. After all I almost have all of them within 100 radius and haven't even reached 300 finds. Just my two cents worth.
  2. The bad thing is that the Dog tag is not attached only a listing of what it wants to do and and it's "number" The number that is written is 446448. There is not a reference number. It is a little Cal Ripken Jr. The log book was in rough shape. I'll email the owner and see if he/she will look and see what it says. I guess I'll wait and see if anyone knows anything about it.
  3. I just found a travel bug. When I got home I found out that it wasn't logged into the cache. So I tried to go to the history page and the TB has never been activated. All that is with it is a not saying it's a TB with it's mission and a pic of it with the dog tag. Is there any way to find out who it belongs to and get it activated?

New cacher in SWKS...Satanta. Just getting into caching. Friends and myself ended 2005 with 8 finds in Garden City. Also set up 2 new caches that will hopefully be logged soon. Happy caching Chevy292
  5. I'm looking at getting a new gps. I'm looking at the new lowrance ifind explorer. But I noticed that it is only a 12 parallel, where earlier models with fewer features are 16. What kind of results will the change make? I'm new to this and I'm on a limited budget. Any help would be great.
