Hallo Ich bin zwar nicht aus dem Allgäu, dafür aus Vorarlberg. Für interessante Caches, bspw. gut gestaltete und interessant wirkende Nachtcaches oder andere Qualitätscaches, bin ich durchaus auch zu etwas längeren Anfahrtswegen bereit. Schöne Grüße Patric

Dieser Beitrag ist zwar schon älter, doch als Vorarlberger setzte ich mich lieber hier dazu, als nochmal ein Thema für Vorarlberger einzustellen. Besondere Begeisterung habe ich für Nachtcaches, aber auch für andere ausgefallene oder interessant wirkende Caches bin ich schonmal bereit, auch über die Landesgrenzen hinaus zu reisen. Klettererfahrung/Ab- und Aufseilerfahrung habe ich bisher auch keine, würde aber auch gerne vertrauensvolle Gelegenheiten nutzen um in diesem Bereich Erfahrungen sammeln zu können. Paying more money, only for using google maps here on the webpage? From my side a simple: Never! There are several maps selectable, and OpenStreetMaps is just enough for me, especially as it's the map I'm using on my GPS too. I don't see a benefit from using google-maps instead. And if the missing google map is the reason for someone to leave this hobby/sport/whatever, how serious has this one been into it really?

I would really appreciate if this Garmin-Feature would be added for Geocaching.com too. From a Garmin-blog I know, that this feature is already supported by another Caching-Website, but I'm not allowed to link there, as it could be misunderstood as a sort of advertisment. Anyway, from that blog it seems that on the other website it's solved by four download choices for a cache: With all photos, spoilers and required ones only, required ones only, none. A similar solution may do that job here too, if the cache owners would mark their photos as spiolers and/or required ones.
