We know. If I get fired for laughing out loud, I'm going to blame you, baloo! If you are in the forums, you aren't doing much work anyway, Blue Bow.

  4. Yes. At least it became a very rare thing. Today I am seeing a sudden and drastic increase. Of course, it could be just my connection too, but I'm not seeing it on other sites. Where's pinehurst? We need that guy right now. <----- 'zactly what I was thinking. Oh wait a minute...

˙ʎɐʍʎuɐ ǝuıu ʇsɹıɟ ǝɥʇ punoɟ noʎ ǝɹns ʇou How did you do that? It actually isn't that hard. Take your keyboard as you face it and turn it over, rolling from left to right, so that the keys are facing down toward the desk. You'll need to support the keyboard so you can get your hands under it to type. It takes a little getting used to but works like a charm. Dang it baloo!! I almost blew rum and coke all over my laptop.

Ya did it. Of course this was taken at 9:51 MST. But does this "???????????" really count? Edit: I just realized that you missed one of the crucial platinum member requirements. You almost had enough posts today. Keep trying. We will let you know when you get the right amount.
  7. Ok so the top 10 posters have a grand total of less than 4.2% of all posts. I'm sure there is a point here somewhere....... The point was with a tongue-in-cheek response to Motorcycle Mama's remark of C'est la Vie. C'est la Guerre. Even the most humble on the list of 10 is the host of the show and he is at 9.2k. You don't hear much from 'rish these days in the forums. Everybody needs to compound their efforts to catch up with "snat".
  8. Haven't seen Renegade Knight, Sbell111 or Miragee in ages. Perhaps I should take a cue from them, and take a nice long vacation. Knowing me though, that probably won't happen. Heck TWU...You can't even make it on the daily list. Slacker! 10. ?????????? Yes it is! If you would have looked at the first post, you would have seen my name! What name?
  11. I am glad that you edited that post, BD. It was reading rather peculiar the other way.
  12. I didn't know that...why do you? but in the words of Seinfeld "Not that there is anything wrong with that."
  13. A big "Alley Oop" to this thread and a mention that I would like to see this feature. Heck if nothing else, it may slow down the complaining about <fill in the blank> threads.
  14. After I read throught the whole thread I found exactly what I had mentioned in my post above...and this was last year! GC loosened the power trail guidelines a lot faster than implementing an "ignore user" feature.
  15. This would be a plus, for sure. I see no reason for GC to not implement it. Especially since they seemed to have backed off on the power trail (and other) guidelines, why not include this type of "ignore cacher" feature. Maybe it is time for TPTB to re-look into this option.
  16. There are several micro spewers in this area as well. To me when you have a person(s) that put out that many caches, typically micros but I am not bashing micros, it just muddies the waters for others. My point is, I ran a PQ the other night filtering out micros since typically that is not what I am after, and missed out on a couple of micro caches that I think I would have enjoyed finding. I accept the fact that is going to happen. Not that GC will do anything about it but my opinion is that a person(s) who places so many caches needs to be throttled back. In other words some limitations on how many caches a person can hide. I know that is not going to happen and this is not a popular topic. The shotgunning of micro caches just for the sake of doing it. To me that is senseless. Larger caches are typically not spewed.
  17. Have a look at this page and see if that will work for you.
  18. The bolded is my addition to your well written post. No pride in the location or the cache so no sense of properly maintaining the cache. Why do anymore work on the cache when a simple click of the "Archive" button will take care of it. A local cacher here will go to a cache, find it and plunk down 2 or three caches in the area around it just so the draw of the that cache will entice others to find theirs. Cache parasites. Their goal is, and they admit it, to place as many caches as possible. Creativity is lost on them.
  19. That is true. Back in the days of geocaching yore, I would thumb through and read physical cache logs. People would typically write something of their experience finding the cache. With the new mode of caching, there is no sharing of the fun in the logbook and few cachers will write anything of value on the cache page. Geocaching has changed. Find a cache and hurry to the next one...rinse and repeat. More and more people use stamps or stickers to help hurry them along. I don't think that micros are the root cause of that necessarily, just the placement. No adventure=No creativity. Either for the hider or the cache seeker.
  20. Crestfallen to hear that news, I have to ask... is your Blackberry Curve as waterproof as the GPSMap 60 CSX when you're nipple deep in alligator infested swamp water? What's more is can it shed crude oil?
