  1. I downloaded Found2log and tried using it today to log the caches I found. I ran into some problems, but I'm wondering if its related to how I have GSAK setup to export caches to the 210. When I opened the found log central_oregon.fnd with Found2log, it listed the caches by size, and when I clicked on them, it opened a URL similar to http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=small. Which is not a valid URL. So my question is, is anyone using Found2log with a 210 and GSAK, and what do they have their export settings set to? Do i need to change the cache id form to %code instead of what I have it set to now which is showing %con (container size). If i do this, is there anyway to have th 210 show the size of the cache in addition to the gc.com cache id? Oh! As I stated above, I live in Central Oregon USA and I have uploaded the new EU version of the firmware and I love it! Very fast acquisition, great accuracy and cool new menus. Is there a manual out there that explains how to use some of those new screens and what some of the stuff on them mean? My manual that came with the unit doesn't explain them, and the manual downloadable from Magellan's website doesn't contain the new menus either. Ben

  4. My account seems to be counting 1 to many caches. I've only found 82 caches, but it keeps counting 83. I've gone over my list on GSAK, downloaded pocket quaries of all my found geocaches, and nothing changes there, i cant seem to find a duplicate entry. Any ideas? KD7JFV.
  5. Specifics to my earlier post - Mapsend Topo US V 4.20 exports a file called Xregion.img to the foler C:\Program Files\Magellan\MapSend Topo US\EXPORT\IMAGES. Magellan Conversion manager is only looking for files with the extension *.imi or *.mgi. I can change the file to a *.imi or *.mgi file, but then when i upload this to the eXplorist 210 via the conversion manager, i get error messages. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Ben
  6. I have MapSend TOPO US V. 4.20 and every time i try to load it onto the Explorist 210 using the Magellan Conversion Manager, i cant seem to find the file that i have saved from MapSend. If i change the file tag to the correct type, then i can find it and load it onto the GPS, HOWEVER, i get an error from the 210 stating incorrect file type and wont load the detail maps. Ben
  7. 2 Questions... A) How many Geocache Points can be in a geocache file? It seems to me with 22mb of memory it should be endless, but when i uploaded 550 Geocache Points in one file using GSAK, many were not available from my eXplorist 210. How many characters can be saved in the "Hints" section using GSAK? When using GSAK, it seems unlimited, but my 210 only displays a very short part of what i have typed in the hints section. Thanks Ben (a novice GPS user) KD7JFV
