  1. So what happens when the TB gets moved to a non-members only cache or removed from the chain on the porch or dropped on the side of the road? I agree with the "Ships are safe..." quote. The only way to keep a TB perfectly safe is to move it to some location known only to you, then pick it up and move it to another location. Seems like a safe TB isn't a very interesting one. Being new to the game, I've gathered that most Geocachers are a pretty trustworthy bunch. Try making the cache more difficult if the goal is to make sure that only serious cachers will look for it.
  2. I have a cache saved in my GPS that I think I entered in the wrong coordinates for . My GPS only allows 6 characters for the name of the landmark and so I have "HILLDT" as the name of it and don't remember the cache's full name. I tried searching by the coordinates but didn't get a cache there. I tried keyword searching for "hill" and got WAY too many hits, the first two being in Antarctica (a ways from Kentucky ). Any suggestions on how to figure out what this cache is? Is there a way to organize search results differently than date placed? Like combine keyword and distance from home coords or something?
  3. OK. Newbie here. First cache I found today (and first cache I've ever found!) had stuff in it. I took a plastic paratrooper, and the only thing I could find in the Jeep to leave was a golf ball I had in the center console Oh well. Now I know golf balls aren't appreciated by everyone. I happen to like golf though, so it does have some value to me. Newbie mistake. Dan Bowling Green, KY
