Another issue is I can't get Garmin Communicator plug-in to work pn my Mac. When I install it and go to the test page it just says not found.
Any idea's?
I tried our nuvi760 for the 1st time yesterday while geocaching. I quickly found that it on seems to get me with about 100 ft of the cache. It's says I am there! Once at the cache area and walking around it doesn't move, just stays locked onto the destination location.
How do I make it get me within a few feet like an old handheld GPS I use?
If I can't it will have to be returned
Yep after re-reading the post it is a US/Mexican border marker.
Here is another pic. This marker is on top of the post in the foreground. The white marker is also a border marker.
This disk is in the dunes just west of Yuma, AZ.
I think the pic was taken on a macro setting with the focus being on the disk. He may have stopped down the camera some to get better focus.
elcamino-after re-reading the post where I found this it is a boundry marker.
How/where did you find your info? Do you have a map or coords to it?
Thanks!
Hello,
I have a picture but am not sure which number is the PID number.
THIS PICTURE IS HERE
Which number is the PID number? I would like to see a map and or coords to this benchmark.
Thanks for any help,
Mike
Anyone use an IPAQ device? I am considering the H1910. Would they be the same as far as loading them to the PDA as is with the Palm versions?
Thanks for your replies!
Anyone use a PDA or laptop instead of printing out the clue sheets? I'd like to find a PDA device that allows you to view the geocaching.com page off line so we can have it 'all in our hands' in the feild.
A laptop would work but be a tad big for carrying around everywhere.
Anyone have input on the PDA set up? What would it take to convert the geocaching page into a readable code for PDA's?
