  1. I've posted the event to Geocaching.com. I will post again when it is published. The date is January 26th, time 9:30AM (10AM Hike).
  2. I'd like to get a new rubber cover for my 60CSX. I've beat mine to the point the top of the antenna is becoming exposed. I contacted garmin and they wanted hundreds of dollars for a complete recondition, and considering a new one is only $250 after rebate, theres no point in that. I'd hate to buy a new GPS just because the rubber piece is tore up. Anywhere I can get one.. Have one made? Anything under $50. Anyone seen a protective case that also covers the antenna?
  3. Oh, no, January. Theres too many conflicts in december.
  4. Looks like the 19th or the 26th would be good dates.. Any objections to either of those?
  5. Anyone else need to do most of the caches in Southwestway? I've only found one (the IMM tower one), the rest I still need to get. If theres enough interest i might put an event there.
  6. Not that i'm aware of, other than the trucker friendly bookmark lists.
  7. I recommend this one: Beachfront Indiana Fossil Zone (GCPTAD) There also used to be one on top of this cut out too, if you've got a few minutes to climb up there. If you walk down the exit ramp, it's just a steep hill. If you're an idiot like me, you can take the stairstep limestone cutouts straight up the side.
  8. I'm paid in full for #15. Now so long as I remember I bought that..
  9. Just 100 extra coins. I had to order at least 250 trackables. And I ordered 100 extra residents too, because they're cheap, and they're good for door prizes, give aways, trades, etc .
  10. Email sent. I just asked to be as close to Site 16 as possible, so I'll probaly be on 15 or 17.
  11. It's a great spot for the picnic - I look forward to it. The camping prices are great. I'll reserve one as soon as I know how to get a specific one.
  12. Also, at this point I will consider trades on a case by case basis. I can only trade the resident coins to Indiana residents, however I will trade the trackables to anyone with a cool coin that I don't allready have. I'd much rather have a pile of 100 different coins than 100 of the same coin, .
  13. The trackable coins arrived friday, the residents arrived today. All of the orders are packed and ready to ship, I am going to take them in to the post office tomorrow but i'm not sure how many they can handle at once. I may or may not need to space out the shipping over a few days. Either way, it's time to start watching your mailbox! Also, the order page is back up. I've got plenty left, so if you would like to order some but missed the preorder, you can.

  15. Trackable coins arrived yesterday. I'll be shipping orders of just trackable coins as early as tomorrow. Those indiana residents who ordered resident coins will still have to wait a few days longer until those coins come in.
  16. 6,666 On a side note, the trackable Indiana Geocoins arrived today! Hopefully receive the non trackables within a couple days and will start shipping them out. We got the "IN" prefix.
  17. going lower and saying 900, bob.. er i guess it's drew now.
  18. Sorry about ignoring my own thread here - I don't really keep up on the geocoin forums. I sent an email for a status update this evening. All I know at this point is I paid for them at the start of the month and they should be coming in. You can stop watching your mailboxes - I'll post a reply when they actually get to me. I don't have an order for you mark. There are still about 70 surplus in each (Trackable & Resident). Feel free to continue ordering on the preorder page, I will sell them until those 140 are gone.
  19. Not a clue. I paid for them at the start of the month. I'll send oak an email and ask for a status update.
  20. Looking GREAT on the new google maps. Theres always bugs to work out but I really like the new maps. Now, shrink these, and put them on the cache pages to replace those horrible, slow, and painful yahoo maps. It would be cool to see what caches are nearby right there on the page.
  21. Thanks CYBret. It's an awesome bunch of caches that I highly recommend. Certainly the toughest one day hike i've done to date. Check out the google view of the caches (The new google maps are cool, aren't they?): http://www.geocaching.com/seek/gmnearest.a...;zm=14&mt=h
  22. Theres plenty of other caches you'll enjoy in that park too .
  23. I think everyone needs to be reminded that Geocaching.com is a listing service, and has few rules other than those put in place by government or other regulations. I'm not supporting these caches, but they obey the rules, and even if there was a rule change, they would still be grandfathered and allowed to stay. I am fairly sure Groundspeak is not going to make any new rules concerning this. If you don't like them, put them on your ignore list. It's as simple as that, really.
