Some time ago I went to a translator here in Thailand to get the English cache note translated into thai language.. This would great for caches that are beeing placed in Thailand.. When a stranger finds the cache by suprise he would read the cache note in thai and know or deside what to do.. I sended a email to geocaching.com about the cache not but it has not been added to the site yet.. The question I have is.. Where can I submit the translated cache note?? For your need (cheap price) I would go for the etrex.. or anmy model in the eTrex serie.. Irresisti N12º 55.475 E100º 52.865

I can't receive any WAAS birds here in Asia.. But the 20 degrees angle seems to work very well.. The angle (20 degrees) also is the easyest way to hold the unit and to read the display.. (At some point when I hold the unit vertical the Sat. reception was 45% and at the 20 degrees angle it was around 90%...) I have to check the manual tommorow.. After reading the whole thread.. The etrex vista has it all.. -Waterproof -Mapping -PC cacble (usb connecter availeble in PC shops) I am very happy with my etrex vista! There are so many functions on it.. It has all I ever need Irresisti N12º 55.475 E100º 52.865

I own a eTrex vista yestersday I found out that when I hold my etrex horizontal I have better satellite reseption..?? Before I owned the Magellan 310.. it had to be hold vertical.. Is it true that Vista needs to be holded horizontally? Irresisti N12º 55.475 E100º 52.865

I never new about the CTRL key and the mouse wheel.. It's very usefull.. Some websites have fonts to big some to small now it's easy to change the font size.. Thanks for the tip.. Irresisti N12º 55.475 E100º 52.865

I tought about someting.. The pictures are very big and heavy to load for the server and poeple with slow modems like me I tryed to do the same now with Flash.. Check it out Well I'm not working on the other one any more.. I'm now working on this new flash one.. The presentation as it is right now is only 45 Kb.. (wow! the jpg's before were already 75kb for one jpg) Even when in the flash I can add the JPG's so the flash will be more good to work on.. Hope you guys like it.. I have the Garmin eTrex vista wich is a very good unit.. but the price is also a little high.. The eTrex uits are all great units.. It depends on what you need.. Mapping is not needed for geocaching.. so a basic Yellow etrex would do the job very well and the price is also not shocking.. Irresisti N12º 55.475 E100º 52.865

I was trying to make a online presentation where the basics of geocaching are beeing explained with graphics.. I made 3 pages so far.. It's just a idea.. I like to make things like this.. I think it would be easy for some people to see it like a presentation.. Some times I like to introduce some friends to this great game geocaching.. I want them to see a presentation of how much fun this would be.. I started a presentation on my website here I would like to know your input on the idea.
