I tried all the ideas. Nothing worked. guess I should have read every post until the end to see why. Looks like we'll have to put up with the old crappy maps.

I find the maps for my area to highly UNRELIABLE. They show the caches, but no streets/roads I know for a fact they exist. I would not want to rely on these maps! Also, street names are not showing until you zoom in very close, and if you are unfamiliar with the area-you're up a creek! These maps are no good anymore

I have the Dakota 20. (Love it-the touch screen is fantastic) I have looked on my C:/ drive for Garmin-found it, but it will not open - the message is it may have been damaged or removed. I may need to contact Garmin to find out. I don't think it came with a disc

Mass storage mode? Where do I locate this?
