  1. I completely agree. Most of my geocaching take place on footpaths, not streets, and the footpaths aren't shown on the "street" map in the new app (at least in the UK). I really like the interface on the new app, and it was one of the inspirations for me to go premium, but I haven't been able to use it properly yet because I keep having to switch back to the old app so that I can use the Open Cycle Map view to see the footpaths.
  2. Not from me, but I believe the official app works with Apple watches
  3. Have any of you tried out my pebble app that I released about a week ago? https://apps.getpebble.com/applications/571f2701bfdfeab1cf000004 iOS and Android compatible, no companion app required: Geocaching using just your watch* *pebble must be connected to your phone via Bluetooth of course @Elric77: This certainly did not take "only take a couple of minutes-an hour" to develop

  5. Yep; working for me too. Thanks for fixing it
  6. I'm pleased to hear other people are experiencing the issue. It's not that I take pleasure in seeing other people having problems, but I think they will fix it faster if there are more people reporting it. As a workaround, if you click the "clear search results" button on the top left of the map, it will show you caches on the map again. But that view is much less useful to me.
  7. Does anyone know how we get the attention of a Groundspeak person to look into this?
  8. Yep, that would do it too. Logging out seems to clear the cookie that is required to show the first 1000 caches. Thanks for confirming that it's not just me. In case anyone from Groundspeak is reading, I think I know exactly which cookie is missing, and which https request is failing as a result. I can provide those details if it helps
  9. At some point in the last few days the "Map the first 1,000 Geocaches" feature on the website has stopped working properly. Has anyone else noticed this? It works if I was already logged in, but if I try on a new computer, no caches are displayed until I click the "Clear Search Filters" button. To reproduce it: 1. Clear mall cookies for geocaching.com 2. Log in to geocaching.com (using a username and password - I haven't tried using facebook. 3. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/play/search and do a search anywhere 4. On the search results page, click "Map the first 1,000 Geocaches" 5. It should now show the nearest 1000 geocaches to where you searched, but it doesn't display any geocaches until you click the "Clear Search Filters" button. I've created a new account to check whether it's just my account, and it happens on the new account too. Comparing what a previously logged in computer (working) is doing to what a fresh new computer is doing; it looks to me like a cookies is not being set correctly by geocaching.com. Is this problem affecting everyone?
