Markwell is truly a LEGEND. It is not just every geocacher who has an activity named after him, as in "I was just Markwelling you..." I wish I was a household word...

After the great success of the Boblog troll (back in 02), I tried my hand at trolling a little as "Boblog2". It got out of hand and Jeremy wisely revealed that the IP address of this "Boblog2" was the same IP address as Majicman, and the cat was out of the proverbial bag. I actually got banned (well, Boblog2 did) and was forumly humiliated for my activities (a troll can't stand the light, you see.) A smart troll would have used 2 different IP addresses, hopefully not in the same domain space. Fortunately, I was allowed to continue my antics as my true moniker, Majicman, and my trolling days ended then. Sock puppets... well... that's another story altogether!

And a truly Magnificent troll is one whom is both funny and entertaining with his trolls, and when cleverly done (as with Boblog) is often not recognized (by most) as a troll! Remember, Evil's greatest weapon is to convince others that it doesn't exist...

No, Boblog was a known and very famous (or infamous) TROLL. He often posted wild or controversial things to get people stirred up (the quintessential activity for a forum troll.) He was VERY GOOD, and if anyone wants lessons about trolls, search out the boblog posts... BTW - I knew him, but will not reveal his name! --Majicman (a VERY Oldtimer!)

OK, I got a major complaint! It really pisses me off when OLD Geocachers stay off the forums for years and then come back and expect to get the same respect and awe and admiration from everyone just like they had been posting all the time... Now THAT really pulls my goats beard! --Majicman

THIS IS MAJICMAN... back from the past! I wonder how many Oldtimers like me are still around these forums? I remember back in 93 when the infamous Boblog trolled regarding his used medicine cache... hee hee, very effective! I had to give a couple troll lessons to the unwary. I also discussed my used explosives cache as a retaliatory troll! Ahhh, Geocaching... I miss thee! --Majicman

It took 6 months before someone finally figured out my MATH QUIZ cache (Seven Signs on SE 29th) ... too much Math Analysis for most... Success rate on it was about 15%

I just abondened all of my poor children... ooops - I meant CACHES... But, thank god for the virtuals!

Remember... if no one sees you do it, it doesn't count! (Just like food - if no one sees you eat it, it doesn't have any calories!)

Who remembers the infamous Mitsuko, boblog, and that stinkin babey MAJICMAN? I know I tried to forget... just keeps coming back... like some venerial disease....

Jeez, I remember when Geocaching was a SMALL thing, and we didn't have LURKERS... Now I ARE ONE!! (hee hee)

I want to complain about the OLD Geocachers that stay off forum for years and then return and think they have something to complain about! I sure stinkin do (or don't) - which is it? Hummmmm.....
