  1. May one of the locations of an adventure lab be located where, if you get snow in the winter, it might not be able to be found to be answered. One would of course - not that in the description. I am live in the NE. Am hoping to do a historical one which includes cemeteries and monuments. One of the stones is flat on the ground so could not be seen in the winter. Thank you for any advice.
  2. Have to agree with Mainiac1957 - the anniversary of a great program like Earthcaching is very deserving of a souvenir - much more so than just going out and grabbing a cache a day or a few other things which have been memorialized (IMHO)!
  3. Echo of the nice words about the coin and the winners. Thank Jim for the fun!
  4. Went on vacation and when I go home I had an envelope to myself from myself. Hubby had gotten it and thought I had lost my mind. He even wrote the date it came on the envelope. Imagaine my surprise when I opened it up to find - Thank you to whoever sent me this BEAUTIFUL coin! I just love it and it will not be sold! Hope the one donated for River Cacher does well.
  5. Are all the BN Version 2 spoken for? If not, put me in for 1. Beautiful and a fitting tribute!
  6. Absolutely stunning! So happy for you Doc!
  7. Another plus for Portland - if you like the train - you can ride the train from Boston to Portland. Amtrack Downeaster Link Portland also has a city bus system with an extensive route and of course the usual Greyhound and other buses have depots here - as well as bus service to Boston's Logan airport. So many ways to come to this event. Mark your calendar and plan on it!
  8. Highway driving and only about 1/2 hour - with caches nearby and a nice Geocoin Vault of coins for discovery. Of course the retail store as well.
  9. Come early and enjoy our State - there are many Earth Caches in Maine. Just need to drive a bit - we are a large state. The Bangor area is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Portland. Here is a link to a map which one of the Geocachingmaine.org members posted. Current Earth Caches in Maine
  10. I was going to ask you where you got those! I really like them! Do you leave the coins in the flips from the mint. I have been told my a numismatic collector those flips are horrid for metal. Just wondering? Any possibility of a photo for what you are talking about. Thank you. Not sure why the edit from Eartha - Eartha would you mind telling me the problem. Tks.

    RIVERCACHER

RIP RC - you fought the good fight. Several years ago a ME cacher pasted (through a horrific event) and this movie was played at an event which included a bit of a memorial. This is such a great movie. I hope everyone enjoys it - seems to sound like our RC - his dash meant so very much!
  19. Another email headed your way.
  20. I fell in love and believe I sent an email. With a sick dog, I have a been a bit out of the loop. Beautiful Tsun!
  21. Just wanted to post a quick thank you to Jackalgirl for all the help to me, this wet behind the ears landlubber, with this project. I think I am all settled into my berth on the ship and may be ready for setting sail. Thanks again for all your help!
  22. Design isn't my forte but I wish the people who have entered the best of luck! Nice coin Jim!
