I placed a cache several years ago outside of Spokane Washington, omgiapsfam (what do you think it means?), GCTRAO, and have since moved away from the state. I disabled it, but have been asked to see if anyone would like to adopt this cache. It is an easy walk in a very wooded area, with a couple of other caches nearby.

every one I pulled up said "image may be Blah blah blah." Thanks, but I was hopin some one knew of a free clipart place or something. All I need is to pull an image off the web and then get a letter from a bored lawyer. It could be that I just don't know where to find out if it's protected or not.

I want to do a logo/avatar of a bigfoot/sasquatch looking back at you as he strides away (or strides anywhere) and put a garmin in his hand. Anyone know where to get royalty free images of bigfoot? Anyone out there who can whip one up for me? Any help appreciated.

The specimen cups I'm talking about ARE specimen cups w/ a blue lid. They have a fluid measure on the side but otherwise non-descript. I might look funny at a smallish cup w/ a yellow lid myself. We've all seen those.

Hey Guys, My wife and I were caching out at a pretty remote spot in the Spokane Wa area last Sunday. I've been telling her to look for deer antlers since the freeze is off you might see some. Would you believe it, no sooner than we get down to the shore I see one laying on a rock like like someone set it there and found the other about 10m away. Nice 4 pts on each. I've found one before but never a pair. Gotta get a lotto ticket.

Do you know a nurse? Ask them to get you some specimen cups. they are +- 2 3/4-3" tall X 2", clear plastic, blue top, and trust me, the are MEANT to be waterproof. I have one going out this weekend. Kinda large for a micro, but please!!!! Ask for NEW ones!!!

Sorry if this is really not the proper place for this,but, I'm filling my cpu upw/ photos from geocaching. Any one have an storage site that won't bust your chops w/ ads and garbage?

I'm a reasonably new member. I have upgraded to premium and enabled new cache notifications. I had a new one come up this am that I saw in the lists but not as an email or instant notification. I could have been FTF but had no idea it was there. I don't think my filter is set too high, I've rcv'd email form GC before. What am I missing?

Hey Folks, I recently started geocaching with an old gps12 xl I had for the boat in 96. It wanders a lot and sucks batteries dry pretty fast so I want to up grade. I see a lot of cachers use the 60 type gps and a lot use the etrex type. I'm in the Great Northwest so tree cover is an issue here. I guess the main question is.. Is the quad ant better than the patch on the etrex units?

Hey Folks, My wife and I are new at this but enjoy the addition to our walks. Like many here I was at first puzzle dby the items left until I remembered "treasured items" of our sons. Some were downright embarrasing but they wouldn't part w/ them until a truly worthy cause came up. So, Also remembering this is a family deal here folks, I now take joy in seeing what is left and think instead of the child that left it behind. If it may be a little worn or damp I may take it out and leave something in it's place. My signature Items came in yesterday, cast aluminum safety whistle keychains I got online for .50cents if you bought 100. Kids will love them and adults can use them if they hike in the woods as we do. And like was pointed out earlier, if you go for 5/5's, you probably won't find Mc toys. My $0.02

I went here and downloaded BROWNING from the liberater crew, it's a free download font and made my own. Set your page to landscape and use really big fonts for an ammo can. I hope this hyperlink thhingy works>>> Email me if if you have problems and I'll send you my doc.

I'm also new at this. I have a visor I used in nursing school and thought I would try this paperless caching. I really didn't want to spend the bucks on premium memberships and software so I just copy and paste coord and logs, everything but the map, to my memo clipboard in the pc part of palm os. hit hot sync. and I can clean them up abnit and they go to palm. It's not as fancy but I can read all the details when I get there and not have 14 sheets fo paper to deal with.

I have only found a few caches so far and have also been suprised at the "quality" of trade items. I didn't expect Krugerands, but not, as pointed out, used GB's. I also go to Wally World, in the auto dept I found 3 biner keychains for a buck. Not expensive but always usefull. I also searched the net and found aluminum safety whistles @ 50cents each if you bought 100. I bought them and this will be my Sig. Item w/ a label and handle.

Heck I live in Suncrest, Wa. 12 mi north of Spokane and would love to know when your going to do this. I also built our 2 staffs for the wife and I. I used hickory and black walnut in 3/4 X 1/4" strips and laminated them together, routered the edges and cut a bevel on the ends.
