  1. Nothing today, but yesterday (Tuesday) I was fortunate to receive two Sir cache and one Morpho coin as a trade from Canada. A lovely edition to my collection.
  2. Yea I was pulling your leg. You sending me coins now? SENT - I just released it into a local cache after today, complete with mission card attached to seek you out - it's tracking # is.... whoops sorry, it ain't got one.... So you won't be able to watch it after all....
  3. Far too late for April fools..... already the 2nd here. If true.... forget international for buying coins - we can pay up to 50% of the cost of the coins on top for postal rates.... then convert to our currency.... If pulling our legs..... then do you deserve a coin reward???? I'm sure I could find a non-trackable micro coin.
  4. My thanks go to geoks who spotted that Sir Cache had not been seen down here in NZ. A trade has occurred and two of these arrived today, along with a glow Morpho. Thanks again.
  5. Oh dear - I can't join in.... New Zealand has very strict food import rules.... nuts, seeds or anything that might contain them..... Have fun everyone. (hello my name is , and I'm a chocoholic) I look forward to the next mission.
  6. I'm in..... even though I'm still a double MIA on this one.... Enjoyed watching those posts.
  7. Know how KiwiNomad feels. We had our youthgroup TB picked up and "to go to Disneyland". A year later we got a note "found in ex-partners bag", placed picked up and then hostage again for months on end by someone who picked up 10 Trackables all on the one day. Many are now marked missing by their owner. Well, anyone after several nagging emails it got moving again...... Patience paid in this case.... but why is it that the TBs that I hear about so often belong to young people. What are we teaching them about responsibility when others are not responsible towards them. Good luck KiwiNomad... I hope someone can nudge your Jeep along.
  8. FAR better than sunshine. TODAY After weeks of drought, paddocks turning from brown to non existence, lakes becoming smelly mud holes, rivers lower than ever before.... TODAY it rained! It's been a while since we last saw that sight! No enough to break the drought. But still rain! Through the letterbox appropriately, two "cahing thru the snow" geocoins. Perfect.
  9. Hire a jet charter plane. Fill it up with good caching friends... fly around the world, visiting wonderful caches. Of course, we would have chaffeur driven airport pick ups and 4WD SUVs available. Bribe local cachers to have all the spots sussed out and easy finds, but with a bit of adventure thrown in.... like kayak through glowworms canyons at night, Abseiling down a cliff, Scaling a cliff (well, maybe put in a cable car for those less agile) And ensure that at least 30% are under 18. Another 30% are those that would never have been able to travel this way and therefore it becomes a VERY special trip..... well, one can dream.
  10. Apologies - If I offended anyone - I thought all coins were created equal - given that most cost me NZ $15 plus huge shipping bills. It appears not.
  11. 2nd post.... another hour. 7.50pm Sunday night here. If I didn't spend on geocoins, then my rubber duckie collection would be so expansive. I'd have pirate rubber duckies, frog rubber duckies, pink panther rubber duckies, Garfield rubber duckies, Ozzie Osbourne rubber duckies (well, maybe not), black rubber duckies, white rubber duckies, devil and angel rubber duckies, kiwi rubber duckies (do they make them, maybe I need to design it), pig rubber duckies..... For those who don't know me, I use rubber duckies as teaching aids to show the diversity of the human race.... so few exactly alike. Rubber Duckie - you're the one. You make parties so much fun!
  12. Sigh.... you have reminded me of yet another thing I have to be weary when caching outside my own country... here we have bees, wasps and one nasty spider, a couple of stinging plants. but NO snakes, bears, wolves, traps, foxes, nasty ants, scorpions.......
  13. Well, caching of course. More plane flights (both national and international), more rental cars (like the 4WD we had in Alice Springs, NT, Australia), more motel rooms and more time off work to chase those caches.... Is there anything else????
  14. Today I got a trade offer - offered me ONE coin for two different NZ coins.... (though another site) This forum has helped me considerably to not accept one for two, that the NZ coins are sought after. Much as I love coins, I believe that to accept that offer would not be equitable. One for one, please. If I think I am getting something very special, then allow me to pop an additional thank you into my trade as a surprise. Apologies - If I offended anyone - I thought all coins were created equal - given that most cost me NZ $15 plus huge shipping bills.
  15. Got my reservation in for more than the 3 I first planned for. So many choices.... Way to go ZorkV. Great coin that will be in demand.
  16. Same place as the Sextant and the Quadrant - coinsandpins. Not sure if there are any there. Note the two purple eggs are the same, just shows both sides. I think they were a preorder. So many doing preorders now. Cheers
  17. What a lovely day - knew there were several outstanding orders and a couple of trades due. So this afternoon I was delighted to find not one, not two, not three, but FOUR packages in my box. Oh, and a courier card, so maybe another one to come. Lots of Easter goodies, chicks, eggs, duckies, more eggs, parrots, earless & tail-less bunnies, and one of my desired coins, a Moustik Butterfly!!! hmmm.... I'm rather partial to butterfly geocoins. Now I have SO many to activate.... Oh, and I got another sextant and two quadrants for trades.
  18. Now, this butterfly is eye-ing up that butterfly.
  19. I also missed out on the Earth turtles - by 30 seconds or less, - despite being all ready to go.... so I'm willing to trade for any. But particularily for the PURPLE one. I have Quadrants, Crake butterflies - Monarch and Swallowtail. Lizardtoadz All sorts of available coins not yet listed on my cointracking list.... still updating. Oh, and 3 NewZealand coins plus Sputnik (ZorkV) Send me your seeking list, and I'll consider.
  20. Congrats to all who got in. Was 2pm local time here. Sat down and the web site said 7 minutes to go at 2.03pm Got the email ready. Refreshed the page and it was up! Yeah - sent email. But missed out. Oh well.... maybe someone will trade later on. However got four packages in the mail today, including the moustik butterfly, so not all sad.
  21. The courier post man has a parcel for me.... but twice he has called when no one has been at home. It could be some wonderful northern sunshine or some Carousel horses....... time will only time. Actually Carousel horses will bring more sunshine in here. A dismal autumn / fall day.
  22. Darn - xxxx it! I was sleeping! Really, truly, actually - overnight sleeping. Missed it. Oh well, maybe one day I'll catch you all napping
  23. Well done Zork V - another quality coin. Put me done for three.... OR maybe a swap if your wish....
  24. Great looking coin. Will this be a worldwide cointest, or limited to certain continents. We would love to see one downunder for the opportunity to move on.... Even though you have chosen our winter time... Well done on a great coin.
