  1. Duh. Well, there it is. I did look and do a search, apparently I didn't search very carefully... Oh well, now I know to use lower case for the filename (until Jeremy can put some code in to handle either case). Wierd... must be some script or something that is case sensitive? No matter, hopefully too many folks won't run into this before it gets fixed, there are enough steps to try and get your first TB up and running without having to worry about something like this. Anyway, with these threads on the forum hopefully others will find the answers before they get too frustrated. Thanks for the reply.
  2. Thanks Jeremy. What did I do wrong? (so I, and others, can avoid the same mistake again).
  3. I'm just now activating my first TB and I set up the page, took a picture, uploaded the image, discovered it needed to be 300 pixels wide, resized the picture, uploaded again, set that picture as the main picture for the TB, but it doesn't show up on the TB page (shows an error symbol in the box where the image should be). The link to the image lower on the page shows it, so the image did get uploaded correctly. Here is the TB page: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=8869 Help?
  4. I had the exact same question/idea. this would be very helpful, I think it should be added as well. BTW, I had done some research on BMs to try and find some to use as clues in multi-caches but didn't make much progress, this will be a great help to do that!
  5. Great, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

  7. Brand new geocacher, loving it so far. Q: If I see that a TB has been placed in a cache that I have already found, would going to pick up the bug and help it on it's way be a "faux-paw"? A related scenario is last weekend I forgot that one of the caches I was going after said it had a bug in it. After getting home I kicked myself, but went back the next day to nab it and it wasn't in there. Looks like it's MIA. (actually, since that was the second TB that wasn't in a cache I am starting to think this whole TB thing is a massive "snipe-like" conspiracy by vetran GCs to have some fun with us newbies... quite a racket you've got going Seriously, though, any thoughts on the appropriateness of going back to grab a TB? I probably wouldn't even be asking if I could find one where the cache page says it's supposed to be... I just want to find my first bug!
