MusicalJacob and the Kolot Choir of Baltimore, Maryland, on JUNE 15th, will be SINGING AT THE MILLWAUKEE BREWERS GAME!!! They will be playing the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park in Maryland. Get your tickets or tape it on the VCR for this once in a lifetime chance to hear the voice of geocaching (if you're not among the group who heard me singing in the woods while geocaching on Sunday at the meeting!) Being among the first finders of the geocache last month, I think that it was easy to find. The clues on the site, however, were a bit misleading as the "fallen tree" had been either cleared away or non-existant. I hope this doesn't ruin the hunt for you -- keep searching! It's there! Dear Geocachers, Hi! As most of you know, I'm MusicalJacob. I had a very successful geocaching/national park/relaxation trip in August to Charlotte, North Carolina. In Late December, I will be off to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, with my family for 5 or 6 days. Since my Charlotte thread was so popular, I'm opening a Walt Disney World thread. QUESTIONS: 1. What are some fun geocaches in the park? 2. What are some precautions I should take when geocaching in the park? 3. Anything else? Hey all, I know that this is a LITTLE late, but - okay, i'm VERY late - , but I spent six days in Charlotte and had a ball! I did about 10 geocaches...I'll list them later...and I found EVERY SINGLE ONE! No snakes, thanks for the advice. I needed it. 1. Tomb of the Unknown Mustang (a little easy) 2. Urban Get-away II (a little hard) 3. A Walk in the Park (a little confusing) 4. Fire Box #1 (a little hard to find the parking lot) 5. Single Track Stash (a little too open) 6. Sesqui 3 (a little exposed) 7. Sesqui 4 (a little frustrating) 8. Sesqui 5 (a little scary) 9. The Camping Stash (a little annoying, but it kinda grows on you) VIRTUAL: 10. Latta Raptors on Mountain Island (a little beautiful) 11. Ferguson's Folly (a little historic) All in all, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed NC and SC. I invite you with all of my heart to come to Maryland. Sorry to spoil everyone's reptilian fun, but I just got back from Charlotte, North Carolina and the geocaching was great! Thanks everybody for the info! I did not see any snakes. I did about 10 geocaches and found all of them. To Southern Geocachers: I'm going to be visiting North and South Carolina next month...and i'm a little scared when it comes to snakes. 1. Will I find any while caching? 2. If so, what should I wear to protect myself? 3. What do you normally wear while geocaching? 4. Could you recommend any caches in and around Charlotte? Thanks!
