  1. Received a teaser from Idaho yesterday.

Don't worry, from today I will be going offshore for two weeks, so I won't receive the mission during that time anyway. But when I return I'll inspect the mailbox thoroughly.

  2. Confirmed: May 6, 2014

Today I received my mission from Ogima. Cool picture and information! I love the coin you sent me. I apologize for the poor quality of the picture of the coin to travel, but I did not want to take it out of its sleeve.

Glad the mission arrived safely and glad you like the Habakkuk Geocoin (Phoenician Edition) I sent you. It was designed by Gregson Vaux and there were only 50 made of the Phoenician Edition.

Everybody can follow the travels of Vincent van Gogh on the road (TB3BTMZ) from now on.

Toojin, don't forget to grab it from me before you drop it in a cache near you.

  3. Hint, hint...

Sure love to receive a coin from my wishlist, but those are pretty much all VHTF.

I collect dragon themed coins, so if you by any chance have one of those lying around, they are more than welcome. As all of my coins are activated you can check my profile to see which ones I already own.

Like a raven, I also like glitter coins. Penguin themed and ancient coins are also more than welcome.

But of course I ultimately like geocoins in general, so I will be happy with whatever I might receive.

    ROAD TRIP!

When Lady Pinguin and I arrived home yesterday after a weekend caching with an inflatable boat and climbing gear, there was an US mailed envelope in the mailbox. Of course I have no willpower whatsoever so I opened the envelope right away.

Thanks Noah from the Bartians for the Easter card and an VERY nice and shiny Geoswag C&P Club May 2013 Anubis Geocoin!

  5. Thanks for the reply - I'll keep watching here for the final numbers.

Just waiting for my coins to turn up now. Has anyone else in the UK/Europe got their coins yet?

Haven't received mine yet, I'm still anxiously waiting as well...

  6. They look great and I just ordered the set.

Shipping is a bit steep though, $33.- for shipping to The Netherlands. If it was any other coin I wouldn't have payed that much.

Just when the wait was over, waiting for delivery begins...

We will be including Metal COin stands to make up the shipping difference on your order.

Thanks, that is a nice gesture. Those coin stands look great too!

Just noticed that GxProxy.eu is located in The Netherlands. Great news for me, that saves a bunch in shipping!

Looking for a nice coin and card to send across the big pond.

Small hint for the Easter Bunny:

I'm always on the hunt for dragon themed coins that I do not already have. I'm also a sucker for medieval, Viking and glitter coins. But I also like to be surprised, so I'm happy with almost every coin.

(Nearly) all my coins are activated, so it's easy to see which ones I already own through my profile.

  8. Got these over the weekend

On the Left is the "Viking Dragon Shield Geocoin Asgard" and on the rigt is the "Viking Dragon Shield Geocoin Hraesvelg"

Though in trying to research the Viking Dragon Shield Geocoin Set, I have not come up with one named "Hraesvelg." So I am not sure if that is correct or not, however, that one was unactivated when purchased and upon activation, that was the default name given. I just have not found any stats on it, like how many were minted, who designed that one, etc.

The name Hraesvelg is correct. I should know, because I named it :D. You might encounter "Hreasvelg" on occasions, but that is a typo.

It was designed, like the other Viking Dragon Shield Geocoins, by Woejam and yours truly. It is a limited edition with 75 minted. It is Antique Nickel with Blue Pearl.

See the SSOCA wiki for more details. (At the moment in German only)

  9. Just found out about the Swiss coiner Conivo. He made a set of four remarkable Dreagonheart Geocoins, but unfortunately they sold out some time ago. Anybody out there who has the complete set (or a single coin) and is willing to part with it?

Trading list available here, but will also buy if the price is right.

See pictures below for the coins.

  10. Hello BFamCachers!

    Welcome to the forum.

The process for releasing Geocoins and Travel Bugs is the same. The ones you have (I'm guessing Cachekinz) are a kind of modified Travel Bugs.

Please read the Travel Bug FAQ for the answers to your questions about placing Trackables.

Best of luck with Geocaching and your Trackables.
