My second and last mission reached my mailbox this weekend. Thanks Nevadanick for the coins and the chocolate. You made not only me, bur also my girlfriend very happy! Still hoping my second mission will make it in time to its Canadian mailbox. I just hope that the not-so-bright woman at the post office put the postage on correctly. If by any chance a certain Canadian coiner receives a package with due postage on it, please mail me and I'll settle it.

Ik heb inderdaad nog een paar AE's van de 2014 Dutch Geocoin beschikbaar. In principe zijn ze trade-only. Het is de Antique Silver met Polished Gold versie (en erg lastig om goed op de foto te krijgen). @ #Tenzin: ik heb je inmiddels een mailtje gestuurd.

Shop.Geocaching.com doesn't engrave, unfortunately. I get all my Geocoins at CoinsAndPins now because they do engravings, and also because they have more of these Geocoins ~ http://www.coinsandpins.com/geo-achievement They also have great customer service; I was able to ship the coins I got from Shop.Geocaching.com to CoinsAndPins to get them engraved too. For European cachers: Geocachingshop.nl also sells and engraves Geo-achievement coins. Saves a lot in shipping :-)

Wegens de aanschaf van een nieuwe GPS is deze Magellan eXplorist GC overbodig geworden. Het is een prima apparaat voor de beginnende geocacher met een aantrekkelijke prijs van €30,-. De GPS wordt geleverd in de originele doos, inclusief meertalige handleiding, USB kabel en bijpassend Geocaching keycord. Ophalen kost uiteraard niets extra's, verzending binnen Nederland is €6,95 extra. Heb je interesse en/of vragen, neem dan contact met me op via mijn profiel. Hieronder nog wat detail informatie over deze GPS: Speciaal voor de Geoacher heeft Magellan de eXplorist GC ontwikkeld. De eXplorist GC is voorzien van alle belangrijke functies die bij het cachen van pas komen. Het handzame apparaatje is voorzien van een 2,2" beeldscherm met een resolutie van 240 x 300 pixels en heeft een interface naar geocaching.com. Hiermee wordt je toestel rechtstreeks voorzien van alle relevante informatie over een cache. De eXplorist GC heeft ook een wereldwijde Basemap voorgeïnstalleerd. De caches kunnen in verschillende categorieën worden gesorteerd. De eXplorist GC wordt bediend met vier knoppen en een navigatiebutton onder het beeldscherm. Het apparaat is niet voorzien van een uitbreidingsslot voor een geheugenkaart, optionele topografische kaarten kunnen dus niet worden toegevoegd. Op het interne geheugen kunnen maximaal 10.000 Geocaches worden opgeslagen. Het GPS-kompas wordt in het midden van het beeldscherm weergegeven., deze helpt je om je beter te kunnen oriënteren. Met de GoTo functie kun je je naar waypoints laten begeleiden of via de Trackback naar het startpunt laten terug begeleiden. De eXplorist GC houdt het op 2 AA batterijen ruim 18 uur vol. Het apparaat is waterdicht volgens de IPX7 norm en is uitgerust met een SiRFstarIII GPS-chipset. Met de eXplorist GC kun je volledig papierloos cachen.
