Thank you all for the responses, ideas and suggestions, although I think some of the responses were a little 'harsh' and made me feel like this is an activitiy for the 'selected'. Whilst some of the posts are to the point and directive a little more encouragement to ex muggles would be appreciated.
I am actually a mature and responsible person, with a family who are trying to find outdoor experiences to get the kids away from gadgets and me a little exercise,we live in the country, follow the country code and have a completed CRB !!!
I will admit I didn't think it would be so complicated, for example getting permission from the land owner? whilst I can fully understand in some circumstances this may be neccessary how can you get permission from a farmer on a public footpath with right of way or on unused land.
I planned to hide simple caches for families with children not too far away from home so we can maintain and keep it loaded with 'goodies'
maybe a rethink is needed or the forum needs to be more open to questions and newbies.
