  4. I would like a silver screw coin, please!
  5. I received my Royal Flush coins today. I ordered two sets of five and I got a Royal Flush! I'm so excited. I have 3 10s, 1 Queen, and 1 King extra. I will probably trade for coins other than Royal Flush coins, unless I want to try and get two complete sets.
  6. cydriver will take Iowa, please. Thank you.
  7. Put me down for Iowa. And I would like the memorial coins, too.
  8. Here's a link to one that I know of that you can print off. http://www.geocacher-u.com/resources/index.html
  9. I like to clean out caches, take out the garbage or food and dump out the dirt, leaves, etc. If I have my backpack I will carry new ziplock baggies and even pens or pencils to replenish the cache.
  10. It's been mentioned to him and hinted at more than once about the all caps, and I do think he will just continue to do it anyway. I mostly try to ignore it. I just don't appreciate the profanity and I think he even has a younger than middle school daughter that caches with him sometimes. She probably never reads cache pages and doesn't log her own caches, but I know of several children with their own profiles that will read the logs. I'm not a prude, I just don't think it's appropriate when there is a possibility of young people reading the logs. If he ever logs any of my caches I will let him know immediately if there is anything that needs to be edited for bad taste.
  11. There is an area cacher that uses some mild profanity in his logs and always, always types in all caps for everything; logs, caches titles, cache descriptions. I emailed a cache owner once to ask that he email the cacher and have him edit his log for profanity and it was edited, but the cacher doesn't get the subtle hints to stop using all caps. I don't even want to do any of his caches, because I hate reading all caps in the descriptions and such. I wondered what other people think. The newest log uses su** a** , da** , p**p. I'm really tired of it.

  13. Well, I was able to snag the last coin in Iowa! I decided to head out 100 miles one way after work on Friday. Two of the 4 coins had already been found. I decided that they had been sitting unfound long enough. We dashed out the door at 3:45 and made it to the first cache at 5:45pm. Simple two stage in a city park, with a little mushiness at the very end. Cache was a tennis ball canister stuck in the y of a tree, no camo, nothing. I looked through the clear container and I could not see an egg. Opened it up and checked the log book and after the EGB log was three first names dated three days earlier and not logged online. I was so upset! Our only chance now was to drive another 30 miles to walk in 10 deg. windchill weather 1/3 mile around a fishing pond into a swamp area. Luckily it was dry and luckily, when we found the cache, I could just see the shape of a yellow egg through the white plastic at the top of the gallon container. My heart was pounding so fast as I opened the lid and picked up the egg and shook it. Sounded like a coin to me!! I think my son got a kick out of how excited I was to find the precious coin. We had an event yesterday and I got to show off my coin. They all thought I was nuts because they are not geocoinickers like all of us.
  14. Well, I had no access whatsoever last night. This time it was a Host Not Accessible error, not just Server Busy. Working OK this morning, of course it's 4am.
  15. Trying to get PQs done and such for the weekend caching schedule and the website is totally not accessible. Bummer! At least I can get in on the forums!
