  1. Very poor. Hope this hasn't been used. I didn't have time to go through all the posts!
  2. I have one like that as well. Received in a trade years ago, I believe. I'll probably sell mine on ebay, since I'm not able to activate it.
  3. There are very reputable sellers on eBay. I have bought several coins from Atlanta Gal, The Moop Along and Avroair (to name a few) on eBay and I will continue to buy coins on eBay that are no longer available from vendors. The buyer just has to check the seller's reputation.
  4. Haven't had much time for the forums this week, but I received a NWO coin in gold on Wednesday. My husband thought I was spending money on coins again and I said 'Nope! See how this one is addressed to me, but from me? It's a mystery coin!' Lucky me. <3
  5. Will there be an updated list? I don't see a link or anything.
  6. OK, I did make the 200 mile round trip after work today and grabbed the last one in Cedar Rapids. That was close! Thank you so much, Easter Geocoin Bunny. I'm glad I made the trip. I will upload pictures in the morning. They are on Bus Boy's phone. Just checked your log entries for the 3 caches which one did you finally retrieve it out of?? I see that no one has logged entries for the others, that is just not right. I found the one in Morgan Creek Park.

  9. I hope the Easter Geocoin Bunny makes a trip to Iowa! Happy Easter, everyone!
  10. I am excited to be back to the forums and to discover a new mystery coin is in the works!
  11. I would like to know how many people never received their refund for these coins??? Just thought I would bring it up again.
  12. It was a cacher from Canada who has posted in this thread... hate to say a name in case they don't want to be known Although they don't know they were the 1st order in. The second one in was from Idaho and the 3rd was from Portugal Thanks! I know I copied and pasted as fast as I could!
  13. Steph, can you tell us who was in first....just for fun.
  14. Ditto on not being able to get in. I was able to put the test item in the cart about 20 minutes ago, but now I get 'waiting for tsunrisebeydesigns.com...'
  15. People buy geocoins from several different geocoin vendors, sometimes buying extras of popular coins, and then try to set up trades with other cachers who have geocoin collections. It must be understood that these coins are NOT the geocoins that are found in geocaches, which are owned by geocachers and are activated and sent out to travel from geocache to geocache. Some collectors also activate their geocoins after buying them and send them out 'traveling' but still have collections which are traded from as long as they have not been activated. Hope that was close to being clear.
  16. It took me quite a while, but little by little the google searches revealed the name of the show and I figured out the song from the hints. Awesome! Thanks for the cointest! I have been away from the forums for a long time, so it's fun to win a cointest on my return. Thanks again, Cydriver
  17. 1. The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show 2. Stranahan Theater, Toledo, OH 3. The Vogues- Five O'Clock World Watch for Bikes!
  18. I was very surprised to find a sleek, black mailer with a boot stamp in my mailbox today! Totally awesome coin! Made my day, for sure.
  19. Well, where to begin? I saw coin #4 logged into a cache of mine a few weeks ago, and thought to myself 'That name sounds familiar, didn't I read about this in the forums?' So I took a look at the coin page and cheered to myself 'Woo Hoo'!! I never thought one of these coins would come close to me! Thanks to Ziggy who was traveling through Missouri and picked up this coin and carried it with him to Iowa and plunked it in my cache. I didn't have any of them on my watch list, so I was very excited to see this coin turn up. And then I waited one too many days to retrieve it..... . So I had to wait for the grabber to drop it in a cache 30+ miles away. I had one opportunity to fetch it and hope that no one beat us to it on the day we made the trip. Well, I did the bushwhacking and my son Bus Boy took the picture from the edge of the woods. (He was wearing shorts and sandals). I found it in a huge pail container in a wood pile (a TB hotel, of sorts) and held it up for him to get the pic. I hung on to it and got a nice photo of Mr. Jiffy for my scrap book. I had a hard time finding a regular cache to place him in, since almost all the new caches in my area happened to be micros! But lucky for me, one of my cachin' buddies hid a new cache a while back (Casey's Cache) in a very clever container (his forte) with just enough room for Mr. Jiffy. I know he will be grabbing it soon. He loves coins, too. Thanks for the cointest and I really am enjoying all the pictures. Big Momma's House cache Sizzlin' Hot Summer Meltdown
  20. I usually never post but I was so excited to receive my Big Bean GeoJellies! They look 'Pinkalicious' enough to eat. Wish I had a picture.
  21. I got my guitars today! Awesome, awesome, awesome. Now I have to decide how many to trade, how many to save, how many to sell?......
