  1. Can I please enter my Mini Ammo Can TB? It is already out there, but has traveld zero miles so far. Thanks!
  2. Hello, all! I am very interested in the non-trackable Crappy Cache Award Geocoin, but cannot find one for sale anywhere! Does anyone have one for sale or know of a site selling them? I am interested sending it out, attached to a TB . I would make e it's goal be to visit Team Geochef's infamous A Crappy Cache. Thanks!
  3. I would say that remains do not make good TBs for the following reasons: 1) They could get lost. 2) They could get stollen 3) They could get broken 4) Geocaching is a family sport, and you don't know who will pick up the bug. Instead, perhaps you could laminate a picture of your pup and send that out? Or maybe hide a cache in your dogs honor? I'm very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, sweet puppy.
  4. I will make my inquires in that thread next time. Thank you! Thanks for the link!
  5. Hello, I'm fairly new to geocoins but am totally hooked! I have four coins and I'm now looking for, yes, another one. I'm an avid hunter/jumper rider and a total horse nut so I would love one with horses, horseshoes, etc. Can anybody point me to a horse themed coin that I can BUY for less than $20? The only thing I have to trade is an activated Mt. Rainier Geocoin. Thanks for any guidance. Merry Christmas!
  6. Wow! Very, very pretty. I will be buying one.
  7. Wow, Troojin! Thanks for your prompt reply! The first one you showed me, the one with the snowman does say Merry X-Mas on it, so it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But the one on Geoswag.com, that blue star one is boo-tee-ful! THANK YOU and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
  8. I've seen a lot of Christmas coins for sale, but was wondering if anybody knows of any hanukkah or winter themed coins. Thanks!
  9. Oh, I know! Can I play?? This is the Virtual Cache Ghost coin. You got it! Good job.
  10. I'm a terrible artist, especially when it comes to drawing on a computer. So, please, forgive me! Here's an easy one...
  11. Is it the Summer Solstice Geocoin?
  12. I tell them that I'm looking for my sunglasses/umbrella/mittens. It's really simple and almost always works! When it doesn't, however, I try to explain it and then hand out a brochure and tell 'em to Google it.
  13. You know you are are geocacher when... -Mom and Dad had to come up with the "no geocaches on weekdays" rule so you'd do your homework. -You get a bad grade on said homework because you kept spelling cash as "cache". -You lose some other homework and tell your teacher it was muggled.
  14. Amazing. God bless you and your brother.
  15. Thank you so much, Droo! That is so very kind of you. I will send the email soon. Mom and I are both so excited!
  16. Hello, I'm fairly new to geocoins but am totally hooked! I have two coins and I'm now looking for one to get my mom. She likes coffee, but the only coffee-themed coin I've seen is Geocache Coffee Geocoin which I cannot find for sale. Can anybody point me to a coffee-themed coin that I can BUY for less than $20? The only thing I have to trade is an activated Mt. Rainier Geocoin. Thanks for any guidance. CrazyPony
  17. What great geocaching story do ya “got”? My favorite geocaching experience/story was when I met up with fellow cacher, hunterKat while looking for Historic Hermon (GC2TGM1). I only had 5 finds (she had over 800!) at that point and had never moved along a bug. hunterKat and I made the find together and then sat and talked for a while about our experiences. She also gave my a little TB to move along.
  18. What “gotcha” into geocoins? As of now, I only have two coins, A Mt. Rainier coin and a Cache Around The Clock coin. But I want more! I got the Mt. Rainier coin when I got my Hide A Cache kit and was hooked after that. The Cache Around The Clock coin was a gift from Mom when I made honor roll.
  19. How did you “gotcha” geocaching name? I'm an avid young hunter/jumper rider. I still ride ponies, who are infamous for their "pony-tude" which "my" li'l girl, Andi surely has! She's a crazy pony so the name CrazyPony seemed perfect. It is also a little ode to my first crazy pony, Junior. He had the dirty little trick where duck his head down and send you flying... I learned so much from him! After all, a bad pony (or a crazy one!) makes a good rider.
  20. Those are great and just what I am looking for!! But put each one in a separate post so you have four entries. The random number generator will give me a number and that will be the post number that wins. Oh! Okay! Here is one... What “gotcha” into geocaching? I have an uncle who's younger than me (long story!) and he did it at camp. He kept telling me about it while I was visiting him in Maine so we decided to go visit one that he had already found. We had no GPS and it took us a while and during that whole time I kept thinking about how it must be as scam. But then we finally found the ammo can. I was amazed...and, well, the rest is history! I went home, found some caches of my own near home and now I'm hooked! Everyday after school I ask mom to go geocaching. And everyday she says no, we go on Saturday.
  21. Hi! I sent the an email about a week ago, and still no reply. Is the Geocache Coffee Geocoin still available? Thanks!
