That reminds me of me trying to describe to my girlfriend what GeoCaching is. "That sounds a bit Trainspottery" she said. I have to agree with her on that one. GC leaves you wanting more - a bigger high, if you will - and even though I'm a newbie, I am starting to feel the pangs. Hell, I've got the anorak to go with the image. So why not? ------ O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams. Hamlet, II.2 252-253

    Watching

How about a Cache owner being able to see who is watching their Caches? Technically there's no real need for it, but it is nice if an owner happens to notice a Cacher they've run into before is paying an interest in their project. ------ O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams. 4. Out of interest... does anyone know if there is a cache under the rock that has no earthly reason to belong under the tree in the location that Tim Robbins' characters left the very forst Cache for Morgan Freeman in the film The Shawshank Redemption? If there isn't, does anyone know the location? Would it be feasible to plant one there? ------ O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams. Hamlet, II.2 252-253

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip - only did two caches - they were relatively near each other which made life easy, and I may do a few more this evening. Had to make do with just my mates GPS, but I'm definately considering getting one now. 6. What do people recommend as a first time GPS (budget) unit? Thanks in Advance
  7. I'm brand new to GeoCaching, so what would people recommend I buy as a first time GPS unit? I'm in the UK, and aiming for a budget unit (I'm a student, so can't afford much) but at the same time want a reasonably sturdy and accurate unit. Cheers in advance.
  8. I only learnt about Geocaching yesterday - from the Straight Dope website. Tomorrow, I'm going out on my first Cache hunt with a mate of mine... I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to it.
