  1. Thanks. No urgency since I should easily get enough for the Souvenirs, not that I need more. Plenty of puzzle solves and available caches to find.
  2. Hi folks … curious if this is a defect but it seems like it. I logged a DNF on a cache on 6/4/2020 - it happens. Got an email from the CO two days ago that it was indeed missing but he is going to Archive it and I could convert my log to a Found It. That seemed nice so I did so. I edited my log and converted it to a Found It and added some explanation. HOWEVER, I notice that in my Dashboard under Latest Activity, the cache still appears as a DNF (not as a Smiley) and I do not seem to be getting credit for the find in my Memory Lane points. When I go to the cache, it does record my having Found it and it appears as Found in my Public View - All Geocaches list. I've waited more than 24 hours in case there is some background job that cleans these up but no change since I noticed this. Any guidance? The cache in question is GCNJ3J. -Gooseville (Steven and kids)
  3. I decided to get started early on my Planetary adventure and logged three caches (first-to-finds, in fact, but that was coincidental) at 12:02am, 12:08am and 12:14am today the 19th, but they were credited to last week's Friend League instead of this week's. Can someone look into this? Other early loggers may be getting "hosed" as well in their haste to be early travelers. I am in the Pacific time zone - the same as HQ in Seattle. Much appreciated! -Gooseville (Steven and kids)
  4. Thanks. The tricky part is that the challenge cache was signed while I was on a business trip (in advance of completing the tasks) and I still need a few local ones to complete. I do use that trick for some of the other challenges that are locally-based.
  5. Sorry if this has already been solved (or needs to be in another forum). I've been pursuing a number of interesting challenges that require certain characteristics based on the GC tag of the cache name. [state abbreviations, words that start with each letter, double letters, elements from the periodic table, et cetera.] Is there a way one can search locally for caches that contain the missing required sequences aside from doing a bunch of PQs and searching the downloaded text variations of the .GPX or .LOC files? The Bay Area contains many many caches within, say, 50-75 miles so I'd need to produce hundreds of PQs of 1000-max lists to manually sort through. How have people accelerated the process? Thanks a lot! PS: Finding them in the My Finds is pretty simple but there are a few I don't have yet to complete the challenges...
