  1. Is that both sides of the piece? Are there any marks on it anywhere? I'll look it up in a minute. It's cool!
  2. Ding ding ding! You got it! I'm sorry, I forgot to come back and update this post. My dad did a reverse image search on this Yandex site and it helped a bit. I took it from there. Yes It's a replica of a Divining Disc from Pergamon. The original was found as part of a kit and is now housed in museum in Berlin. How Cool! It was used to summon Oracles/Soothsayers. I think the cool factor has just jumped up by 1000% I LOVE this type of stuff! Haha, two people offered to buy it from me of of Imgur before I knew exactly what it was. https://artsandculture.google.com/asset/oracle-apparatus-pergamon-unknown/BgG9By7tfjJXVw
  3. Okay. I didn't think was, but it can't hurt to ask. Hmm... I wonder what it is then? Maybe it was meant to be etched on the back side.
  4. Hello! I was just looking through my swag bag and I found this chunky 1.5" or so medallion of sorts. I don't remember seeing it before, but It's possible one of my nieces put it in there. What is it? The back is blank, but not flat. There's a ridge around the edge. Any ideas? Thank you?
  5. Nah, I wrote the person who was there before me. They had left a paracord bracelet, so it wasn't them. I tried looking at it with a magnifying glass and zooming in on my computer. No one can read it? I'd hate to pass it on before I find out what it says! It looks like it had been around for awhile. The keychain was rusty and some of the paint on the head had rubbed off.
  6. Okay cool, I didn't think of that. I just saw the pic of the reindeer head too. I "ll try that. You're right though. We should try to log our trades...:)
  7. Hello! I recently went on my first lone cache :) It was in a little park that I pass by nearly every day. Veteran's Park cache. Anyway, I put in my things and took a little Harley Quinn doll head with a cacher name and date written on the back. I can see that it's dated 5/5/17, but it's hard to read the name below. DubSub? probably not. I looked through the logs with no luck, so it might have been passed along from another cache. I'd like to find out who this is so I can contact them. Any guesses? Thank you!!!
  8. After a google search, I see that there are two Geocachers who cached in New Jersey. One is named "Leo LS", the other is "PRO LS". They have evidently written their caching names on a smiley swag signature item, and placed it in caches. There's also a "THO LS". They have cached together. Cool! I'll try a google search again then. Thank you! I found the first name, but didn't know that the other two were names also. I'll have to let them know that I found their smiley. Thanks!
  9. Hiya! I just started geocaching with my sister and nieces within the past year, so I'm pretty new to this. Anyway, the last time we were out I found a blue smiley with a person's name and "LEO LS PRO LS" written on the back side. I'm sorry to sound stupid, but what do these things mean? I see them all over on here, but not what they stand for. Please tell me. Thanks!
