  1. I don't like this. I usually want to see what the FTF says. They're always at the bottom. I was happy with 5 or all.
  2. I may try one if I see one near me that's worth doing. On the other hand, if I see a challenge that takes me to a cool spot or is fun, I may just do the challenge and not bother to log it. I've done that with a couple of Earthcaches - I learned something, but it's not geocaching. I will be in Manhattan for an event (yes I'll log it - it has a logbook) and I heard there's 1 or 2 good challenges there. Just because the first wave has been all bathwater, doesn't mean a few babies won't show up.
  3. I found a bag of Halloween candy in a plastic baggie and confiscated it. I was curious if the Rollo's were any good. I'm glad I didn't pop the first one into my mouth 'cause I found a live worm munching on the second Rollo:
  4. I just noticed this. The text color has been changed for archived caches where it says: This cache has been archived, but is available for viewing for archival purposes. This cache has been archived, but is available for viewing for archival purposes. - This is much better. Isn't this the color it was before the recent change? I'm not getting any younger and the dark red looks close enough to black for me to not notice that a cache has been archived. Please change it back!
  5. I am having trouble downloading cartridges. I sign in to the website using the app's browser. Then I navigate to the cartridge's page. When I click on the "Download" button, I am told that I have to log in. Rinse, lather, repeat... Also, when I click on the "Sign In" link, nothing happens. I have to log in using the "My Home" link. If I push on the "Sign In" link and leave my finger there, a window that says "JavaScript" with "Open" and "Cancel" button pops up, but nothing happens if I press either button.
  6. I love my caching mobile. It's a Subaru Forester. My 1961 Rambler All American wagon was Red and White outside with an automatic transmission. My Forester has 105,000 and still going strong. I can park in places my old Taurus would never get out of. With the price of gas these days, the best car to go geocaching in is the car that belongs to whoever you can talk into driving!
  7. I thought those "Geocoins" felt a bit light. What does "Proto Picnic" mean in English?
  8. I just started in November. My initial motivation was curiosity. I already hike a lot, for the excercise. A few days ago, I did a night multi-cache where you had to find reflectors with coordinate digits. (One of them turned out to be missing ). I was standing still for a long time, so the next day my back hurt. Since I started I've found many hiking spots near my home that I've never been to. Now my motivation is to explore my own backyard. I would also like at least 1 FTF.
