  1. I also use TomTom for navigation purposes. I spent the $8 and got Cachemate and they work well together. Cachemate has a plugin for exporting out *.ov2 files. I can then use TomTom to navigate right to general area of the cache and then switch to cachemate and use the cache nav plugin to get the rest of the way. Works well.
  2. The constellation should move up by about 4 minutes a day.
  3. Yes. The Cachenav plugin will allow you to do that. As you view the cache info you will notice an icon that looks like a compass needle. Once you have everything configured properly it should do what you want.
  4. There are multiple programs that will create an tomtom ov2 file from a *.gpx file which you can then load into tomtom. The same directory as the maps you are using. Among these programs are GPSBabel, POIConverter, etc.. Cachemate for the pocket pc now has a plugin that will do it. Of course that won't do you any good unless you are using the ppc version of tomtom.
