  1. Please change your nick: it's messing up the tables in the forum. icon_razz.gif

  2. I bought rub-on numbers for my reflective thumb tacks and put one number on each tack for the entire set of coords. If they find all the tacks, they have the final coords for the cache.

Oh, and be sure to set them so you can see them going in, but not coming out.

    BWAhahahahahaa!

  3. Definitely try any of Quest Master's caches if you want to travel from State College (plan on about 3 hours of car time to get to the region).

If you're sticking around State College and want a lovely view, I'm given to understand that Air Elemental has a gorgeous one.

    Good luck! Have fun!

  4. Tomebug, I'm not sure what your situation is but it may be possible to get her into PAWS in their foster program. Someone would take care of her until you have yourself situated.

Good luck! She looks like a cool dog! (And you are to be commended for putting an orange vest on her.)

  5. Hey Jeremy et al!

Is it possible to share caches? The reason I ask is I get a LOT of help with my events (and soon, a multi-state multicache) and I want my fellow conspirators to get as much credit as I do, that is, a smiley face (without resorting to "finding" a cache they helped to create).

    Any plans for this?? icon_smile.gif

  6. I have a TB in my virtual b/c the destination for the TB wasn't a cache. The owners are welcome to come and collect it out of the virt, but they haven't yet...

  7. I've held onto a couple b/c I liked them so much I was reluctant to let them go. I did log that I had them and I believe I contacted the owner to let them know I hadn't forgotten about it and that I wasn't keeping it: just admiring it for as long as I could.

And then, of course, I set them free.

Not that far! But this should get me started, thanks!

I've been to Lost Village and Layton Place (and they were good bike caches) so I'll check out the others.

  9. On one of my caches I included something like, "The following encrypted hint does not reveal any hiding places." The hint was more a guideline on how to find the caches. I put that in so folks wouldn't decrypt the (long) clue just to find out something they maybe already knew.

  10. Anyone care to recommend a couple good bike caches? I suspect I'm only going to be able to do two caches: one Saturday and one Sunday.

    Any suggestions?
