Future 76CS owner here, last week I received the City Select and Topo maps but the box did not contain the 76CS, only a note saying it was on back order. Anyway narrowed my search to the 60CS or the 76CS and decided on the 76CS after months of looking because of AutoRouting and the larger memory. I also do a bit of sailing and hope to load charts in the future. I too would like it to hold Topo maps along with selections from City Select. I considered waiting for the Cx series but I think I've been chasing the new technology for far too long and it was time to buy. Also didn't know for sure when the Cx will be released and at what price. I must say with all the handheld styles out there and their options, it would be easier to choose between a Ford or a Chevy.

I received my auto navigation kit for the 76C and 76CS today. It came with City Select v7.0. I ordered the kit, the US topo maps (which also were in the box), but sadly the GPSMAP 76 was not included and shown to be back ordered on the paperwork that came from Garmin. I wonder for how long because the ship date column was left blank.

After reading this tread and about to order my first GPS, a GPSMap 76CS, I thought that if I also ordered the Auto Navigation kit I'd get City Select which comes bundled in the kit as listed on the Garmin web site's online store. My dealer orders direct from Garmin, doesn't keep stock. Now I'm wondering what will show up with the kit.

I live in Nevis 3/4 of the year, getting ready to go south soon. Don't own a GPS yet but Santa knows what I want!
