  1. I use my Gerber "Suspension" multi tool. At work, and at play. I mostly use the pliers, regular sized blade, philips and mini slot screwdrivers, and the friction blade (saw). When camping, I also have a Gerber flat rock river knife, used for cooking and utility knife. I use a smaller SOG pocket blade just for menial cutting. Hmmm. At work I use the multi tool, a razor utility fold up, a thick bladed multi use blade (locks in the sheath), and a credit card blade in the wallet ... At play, I use the tool, pocket knife, river blade, credit card blade, and maybe a round nosed kayak blade. I need to get more knives The suspension has now been named the Legend https://www.gerbergear.com/Industrial/Tools/MP800_48239 The pocket looks similar to this: https://www.gerbergear.com/Tactical/Knives/Answer-F.A.S.T.-XL_31-000581 The river knife: https://www.gerbergear.com/Outdoor/Knives/Big-Rock-Knife_22-41589 The work utility knife: http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=54871&cat=1,51222&ap=1
  2. Huh. You drove right through that stop sign Nice quality of the shoot though. Is the suction cup mount on your hood or dash/window?
  3. This one is easy. The egg came first. Dinosaurs were being hatched from eggs long before chickens existed, so the egg came way before the chicken. Chicken eggs, however, also came before the first chicken. As chickens evolved from whatever they were before, the previous animals were laying eggs and the animal that came out was slightly more chicken-like. Eventually an egg was laid by a non-chicken that produced a chicken. Again, the egg came first. Actually, if a mammal gave birth the possibility of a chicken, (I'm not an evolutionist, so I toss your theory out the window), the chicken came before the egg. Oh, and by the way, the world is only 6k years old ( as some believe). Dinosaurs are just a figment of someone's imagination.
  4. I have an android phone, and use it to surf for the cache info. I've only been able to find 1 cache so far. I've been out looking with just my phone about 3x. My work keeps me very busy. Now I've bought a handheld unit (eTrex) which when I registered it with Garmin, Geocaching.com gave me a free 1 month premmy membership. So I figure when I'm finished this chunk of work, I'll be able to use my phone to get the gps locations, then use my receiver to go and look for stuff. The geo program on the phone was the one from geocaching but it was the free app. The gps on my phone kills my battery very quickly, so it's better for me to use the handheld. The app is called 'c:geo'. I haven't found the TOU that says it violates, if you use your phone only for the internet.
  5. Actually, I think you just described a seriously fun cache container! DO IT! Sweeet!!!! I can see this week coming up will be fraught with cache making containers If I cannot hunt while I am working (on call), then I can make devilish plans :>
  6. Hey. I cannot afford a gps unit for at least a month or so. However, my Android phone seems to work +/- 4 meters compared to another (very helpful) geocacher's Colorado. My battery power sucks big time with the gps enabled, but so far just me walking around my building has been fun. My job prevents me from wandering very far from the apartment building, but later in the week when I am not on call, I definitely will be scouring the neighbourhood. Plus I've been reading this forum like mad There are some very interesting people here. Thanks for posting and perking my interests. I really need to get out more. Anguta.
