  2. I had the problem of my Vista shuting down after about 2.5 hours of operation after I upgrading to version 2.25. This happen in both the normal and battery save modes. It would just shut down,no Battery low warning. On tring to power it back up, I would get a black line on the left side of the LCD display for about 15 Seconds. This was happening over a 7 day time frame and I used 14 sets of new Duracell Alkaline batteries (I was away on vacation and could not troubleshot, just kept replacing the batteries). When I returned home, I needed to do a master reset and did the upgraded to 2.26. That took care of the problem. I have reused the batteries without a problem since. So i looks like a Software issue with 2.25. If it's not one thing, then it's another...
  3. Of the 238 views of the poll only 33 voted (14%). 24 (73%) said that they Vote in all elections and 5 (15%) vote only in State or Country Wide elections. So 29 (88 %) responding to the Poll do Vote. 2 (6%) said they do not Vote, and another 2 (6%) cannot vote. In conclusion. I have seen over 1500 views in some of the "hotter" topics, only 238 viewed this poll. Only 14% that view it did reply. 89% of the repliers do vote in some type of election. I view our Political Clout Index as very low, since only 2% of the Estimated number (1500) of the potential Geocachers reading the forum wanted to see what was being asked and then 14% recorded their view. 10. In reading the Political Clout topic, I asked myself the question, how many Geocachers vote? In trying to get the attention of our local Politicians to support our cause this statistic could be helpful. quote: So the Question is, Do you Vote? 20. I will be looking for two caches while on vacation in Mallorca, Spain. In another Groundspeak forum I had asked the question what would you leave at a cache that few Americans may visit and one suggestion was a Travel Bug was. Well I have put one together and wanted to know your thoughts. I will be calling it "Buckaroo Banzai’s Adventure of the Lost Keys" I will be writing up a short story to explain the lost keys and will be adding updates as the adventure unfolds. As you can guess the idea will be to have the keys and Travel Bug travel around the world while trying to get back to New Jersey. BB If it's not one thing, then it's another...

Anyway, I didn't have a pen so I couldn't log in (I'll do that later today) but I left a miniature glow stick None who log it as a find seem to mind that fact that the Tree needed to have a hole bored into it for in order to have the cache placed. In fact thought that it was cool and a great cache. During the review process for a cache, is how the cache is placed and its impact on the surrounding area evaluated? 25. I had brought my GPSr back in July,2001 for use on my Mountain and Road bikes. Trail mapping and recording of routes riden while cycling. Found out about Geocaching in August while I still have my 1st GPSr Garmin Legend, I have since add a Vista in order to hold more maps for Cycling trips.
