Connor's Clan

The whole concept of Geocaching and every aspect of it is based on trusting the other cachers to do the right thing. TBs are going to get lost, for many reasons, but you have to take the chance that every cacher is trying to do the right thing. If you can't take a TB without leaving one, then that means no one can touch a TB without releasing one. Have some faith, and let others have fun with Geocaching. I just don't get the "hotel" thing.

I have to thank all of you. I have not laughed this hard in a while. Awesome TBs! The Phone and the Toilet need to be caches instead of TBs. I am just picturing a the john sitting out in the middle of the woods, you lift the seat and there it is; "log" your entry! The rest are priceless. I might just have to drive up to VT and grab that frog/patio block thang, bring it down here to MA so it can get heft around a bit. I think that I am up to the challenge! Roar

Nitefall: I have been tracking the nest full of ducklings. It looks like most of them are making good progress. Have you set up a page where you can track them all at the same time? Or do you just have to view each one individually? Connor's Clan

J-Man: I am not exactly sure how it will work. Is your cache actually in the airport, so people can get to it between connecting flights? Or is it out side of the airport so people have to leave the airport to do drop offs and pick ups? I live in Boston and could put one at Logan, which is also a very busy airport. I have searched the travel bug message pages and have not found the answer to this question. If I want to find a Geocache near me, there is a nice search engine to let me do that. Is there a way to search for travel bugs that happen to be in Caches near me? I love helping travel bugs a long and would like to find a way to know when any of them are around. Nitefall: It's just like hitch hiking. You never know how long it is going to take. Some of them will go quickly and some will take longer. I bet most, if not all of them will be their by Oct 1. Travel bugs do best when they are in Caches that have lots of visitors, and ones that are hidden well enough that they don't get spotted by non-cachers. Caches that have stood the test of time are best. Any special names in the lot that have interesting storys? Like Ouack? my personal favorite is Kack! Rage of Connor's Clan

I think the 'make way for ducklings' is very cool. Maybe it only seems cool to people here in the Boston area because we know about the original ducks and what they mean to Boston. Anyhow, I saw your cash and like the others, dashed off to get a duckling. I really want "my" duckling (Vack) to make it to Seattle. But I want him to have an interesting journey, and visit many caches along the way. I was a bit bummed to see that Mack was already there. But each one will have a unique journey and that is why it is nice to have 16 of them. By the way, I have taken a couple pictures of Vack and hope to post them on his page or on the cache page that I put him in. That is, if I can figure out how to do it. I can't even figure out these message icons... Rage of Connor's Clan
