  1. I got the adoption request, thank you so much! It will be fun to see this travel from a place we’ve never been.
  2. My mom is a moose fanatic and I’d love the one with the moose in her honor, if it’s still available. It’d be neat to start it off in Canada!
  3. Yes, thank you! We love ours, too. We have fond memories of box turtles right on the trail while caching in NJ.
  4. If you still have any, we love turtles and would enjoy a coin!
  5. This is a great way to sum up the year and revisit some of the best caches of 2023… we had 421 finds. Our favorites are a diverse group, both in type of caches and why we liked them. Obviously, this isn’t all of them, but the ones that stand out in my mind at the moment - I hope I didn’t miss any that should be on this list! https://coord.info/GC1HV5P . A cow tunnel under an active road, but in a conservation area, so there is legitimate access. It was just a great spot to visit, and scenic as well. https://coord.info/GCA9ERG A very well constructed, themed, fun gadget. The CO went above and beyond with this one, although most of their caches have been super. https://coord.info/GC58E2V High point of an odd little island we had never visited. The cache was hidden in a clever way, and was in a historical spot with beautiful views. This was also the last MA town we needed that was not on the mainland, so the remaining few will be a cinch to get. https://coord.info/GC8C7AQ and https://coord.info/GC98XHK Two very well thought out, satisfying, and thoroughly enjoyable hiking multis. The interactive stages all made sense and were super creative. Plus, both were resurrections. We will definitely add the rest of this CO's hides to our to-do list the next time we visit VT. https://coord.info/GC9P5ZG . A virtual challenge where you visit 18+ of 64 lighthouses in MA. We got to 21 of them over many months, some by foot, some by boat, and some by car. This challenge brought us to some very interesting places and showed us really unique lighthouses that we were not aware of. One is in the steeple of a church!
  6. Oh yeah, I have 31 to delete right now - I don’t want to seek them on my 1000 item list and delete one by one. I’d do it on a laptop if I had a non-work one to use. But these probably work for most people who aren’t me :)
  7. Yes, this issue been around for quite a while. I'm curious what workarounds you have - it’s especially difficult when I want to delete all caches I’ve found from a list, which is a common workflow for me. I used to be able to select all found, check the box, and delete.
  8. … check to see that you have publish notifications set up for -all- the cache types. I have found that several people I know, for instance, have not had one for hybrids or Wherigos. I am waiting for someone to find our new hybrid, which is at posted coordinates (with a hand carved stamp), and friends are telling me they did not see it get published.
  9. This is what I do - when I sign a challenge I don’t yet qualify for, I write a note in the personal cache note field with the date I signed (and anything I’d want to add to my log), I add it to my "challenges signed by not yet qualified" bookmark list, and I put any caches that could help to qualify me for the challenge to my "to do list" bookmark list.
  10. I love Cachetur for planning outings - either with friends or alone. It’s a super tool, and didn’t take me long to learn how to use it.
  11. The heat and bugs cause me to do more paddle caches and little hiking. I just don’t enjoy being out in the woods and exercising when it’s very humid and buggy.
  12. This is an ongoing issue for many including me. I always liked to remove found caches from my to-do list in a few clicks. I can’t even delete one anymore, and my solved puzzles list got up to 1000 and I could not add any more - even though I wanted to remove about 20 of them.
  13. Me too. And then I have to refresh once I open the message center, because it’s also blank until I do. This has been happening for a long time.
  14. Look up caches owned by CacheDweeb (https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2021/01/phonebooth-geocache-of-the-week/ ) or Hyliston. We have some good ones!
  15. I like that kind of multi. We have one at a roadside feature - it’s the same situation where it isn’t mine, but the answered question gets you the final location. It’s just a few sets of coords associated with the different answer options, so people don’t need to use Certitude on the road.
  16. I’m exactly the same, right down to the scarletsapphire thing! I do mostly high quality caches, so I am usually low on FPs. I don’t do enough regular caches to earn very many. I also mention in my log that I’m leaving one, and I give one to the final of a geoart, at least, when I do those. I don’t like being invited to leave a FP - I am always evaluating whether I should leave one as I’m writing my log.
  17. I didn’t want to be the one to say this, but I excitedly went to clean up my lists by deleting found caches, and I still cannot.
  18. I thought it was just me. I have a virtual where people send me photos of a sign that changes frequently, and I can never read it. Clicking (iOS) to open the photo doesn’t help. Same for the version that comes to my email. This has been months for me also.
  19. Yes, this is a problem for me "in miniature". Since I have not been able to delete caches from my solved puzzle list, it went up to the max of 1000, which impedes my normal way of caching. I don’t want to manage my puzzles on more than one list, I want to remove the 40 I found and don’t need to carry anymore!
  20. If you do open in a web browser, you can click your own name and date on the upper right (says something like found on September 17, 2003), and it will whisk you right to your log entry. I use it all the time!
  21. Didn’t work yesterday for me. I eagerly tried it out as soon as I heard it might be fixed.
  22. All these years, since 2011… never an issue with geocaching and Safari, and also no issues elsewhere on the web.
  23. I just tried again. It is still broken and I can’t delete any caches from a list. I’m running iOS safari.
  24. It does work, but it stinks trying to delete 23 caches from a list of 999… scroll, grab one at a time…
  25. This has been ongoing for months for some of us. I don’t use the app, but I can delete them that way - one at a time! I have a routine where I select all found caches and delete together, when I get home from a trip. I can’t do that anymore, and it’s tedious to do so this way. I actually went over the 1000 cache limit due to this - before I got the app, I could not delete, so had lots of caches I didn’t need on the list, as I added more.
