  1. Closed down the computer and reloaded on another and went straight in to log my find. Must have been a glitch in the system. Thanks for trying to help.
  2. it still will not open a log entry page for me. What do I do to 'clear your computer's cache and try again'. May be I should try and shut down my computer and reboot?
  3. I am trying to log a find on GC1PVDY and cannot 'The Log your visit' takes me to another page which has a Groundspeak advert. Not sure why, can someone help or advise
  4. Leatherman SuperTool is the way forward !
  5. Hi Timmo1977 - are you Zimbabwe resident?. If so and you are still geocaching and in Zimbabwe message me as I am desperate to get geocaching up and running here. planning a visit to my fishing camp on the Lower Zambezi where I hope to place a series of caches. Regards Greenmealie - Harare
  6. If you look on a cache page (already published cache) at the very bottom of the logs there should be a published log and it will have a user name next to it. Click on it, send them a message and let them know what you're planning. Take some time to read up on the expected duties of a cache owner. Thanks - I have emailed both cache owners but have had no response. I am fully breifed on the duties and have no problem - at least I will be able to maintain them. It appears the people who placed the caches all live outside our boarders and they would find in very difficult to maintain their caches. You should be in contact with the Reveiwer, not the cache owner for matters of new caches. Thanks - I have now contacted the reviewer with my questions, you have been most helpful.

  8. I am delighted to hear there is a reviewer in Zimbabwe. The two caches around Harare have both been removed! Is there any way that I can make contact so that we can discuss geocahing in Zimbabwe - I would love to assist or contribute to the sport in Zimbabwe. I live in Harare and spend a lot of time in the Zambezi Valley. I have just spent two very enjoyable weeks geocahing in the UK and am rearing to go in Zim.
  9. I would love to get geocaching going in Zimbabwe. There are very few caches and those that have been placed have been placed by people who live away from Zimbabwe. I want to place at least 20 new caches in and around Harare and the Zambezi valley. I will be in a position to maintain these caches. If the rules of placing new caches are followed who will check the caches and will they get accepted. I don't want to go to all the trouble if they are not uploaded to geocaching.com. Your guidance please.
