I am starting to have fun with puzzle caches, but when I solve them, where can I enter the coordinates to locate the cache? In the App, not the website

I set up a TB and gifted it. I've done this many times. The adoption was successful and on the web page the TB is listed under the new owner. However, on the app on our phones it still shows in my inventory, not the new owners. Android phones, Samsung galaxy s10 and s8 versions, I uninstalled and reinstalled app. Thought about giving it more time for the great interweb to do its thing...24 hours later, still no luck. Thoughts???
