I am looking at getting all the lat and log for all Tim Horton locations in Canada. This is going to be a huge project . I'm starting with Edmonton first there are 54 stores here alone. I think this will be a blast maybe see who can visit all of them and have a coffee with photo and gps in photo. I'm really new to the geo caching stuff so I don't know if this is appropiate. I own a sport trak map and it says v 3.03 copyright 2002 . is this version 3.03 if so how do I update . CONFUSING

I have been using the Mapsend St and Dest. Canada for a while it is copy righted 2002. Is there anywhere to update the data or is this the newest infomation ? Is it possible to just put in a place name and for it to be found. I find that this cannot be done . even when you try to locate a place provincally . you seen to need an address to locate a town or village. If anyone knows how to just put in the town name ahd get its location could you let me know.

I have just purchased a sport trak map gps . I live in Alberta Canada. The Database only gives me cities, apirports, waterways, parks , etc that are in the US !!!!!!!!. I would like to have more info about my area I am in the capital city with a pop. of 1.8 million. I figured the data would provide some basic info of the area. I plan on travellinng to the east cost of Canada later this year and I find the detail to be even more lacking. WHAT Gives.

** Just providing info not a salesman****** I just made my first GPS purchase , I did alot of reasearch on-line and in retail outlets . From MapWorld , to Canadian Tire , Walmart , Future Shop ,e.t.c , and many on-line stores. The best price was as Wholesale sports here in Edmonton( (www.wholesalesports.com) 319.00 plus a rebate coupon for 30.00 US. this will take about 10-12 weeks to show but hey it's still money. Well hope you all save a few pennies

I am a first time buyer looking at both of these models . I do hiking some boating but already have a radar ,etc, looking at doing some geocaching , and enjoying the outdoors as well as the back roads of alberta. Can you help me decide which one . or even some pro and cons. thanks
