Thanks everyone! You would not believe I have been caching since 2011! I have dropped lots of TBs. Just could not find that TB to drop in my list when I found the cache! Had a senior moment there! Just added the TB to cache! Thanks again!

MtnGoat50, thank you for the response! I have been caching since 2011. This has never happened to me before. I am on my TBs page and it only gives me the option of Write note. I even went into edit and the "Make this Collectable" and it is not checked. This is so frustrating because it is a TB I picked up at the 20th Bash! Any other suggestions?

On the TB Owner page, on the to right is Trackable Options. One of the options is Print Info Sheet. This has a nice note you can add/attach to your TB.

I am dropping off one of my new TB's but the only option is Write Note. I did not make it collectable so not sure what has happened. How do I make it so I can drop it in my first cache?

I don't like this at all! On the website when I click on recent caches the screen is very unreadable. Please put something so we can click to go back to the old version.

Yeah! I finally figured out Mission #3! I looked at the email at work but my school blocked the pictures. Hectic first couple weeks at school. This weekend I was able to solve it. Now off to plot this find. It may take me a while! Thank you Headquarters for a fun August! Now I always look forward to August even with school starting! A visit to GC Headquarters is on my Bucket List (from Georgia).

Interesting topic! I was wondering if anyone would connect Pokémon Go with Geocaching! Seems to me there will be people just caching, just Pokémon Going, and some doing both. And never the two shall meet. . .

I combine caching and running the states. I just wish I knew about caching sooner. I have run a marathon I all 50 states two times - two years before I knew about caching!

I just saw on the website that "2 geocachers have unlocked the Achiever souvenir so far." How did that happen? Today is July 31! Weren't we suppose to start Aug. 1st????

Another cacher who likes this 31 days of caching for August. I was just wondering. I have all 17 so far. Sooooo, if we do all 31 will we get another one for the "31 Days of Caching completed"??? Anyone know???

So if I were you I would try logging the find again on those caches. Did you do that? Did you get the souveniers?

This has been an interesting month. I have been busy since school started (Aug. 6th - I'm a teacher). But the Atlanta Area Cachers have been having a Mega Flash Event daily. It is called the Historical Flash Mobs of Atlanta. Cool idea! Carter Center, Peachtree Road Race finish, Waffle House Museum, Martin Luther King Center, Georgia Tech, and of course the Varsity! Just to name a few. I was surprised to see that someone is creating new caches (daily) down around a mall a few miles from my school. Good motivation and excuse to get back into my favorite hobby after work. After all, geocaching is like running. Each person decides how to do their caching. For me, this is my longest caching streak (17 days).

Don't know what problem you might be having trying to get it back. What MrsB said should work. I tried it again and now I have it back. Sorry! I do not know what happened - just glad it is mine again. Thank you for your replies.

I accidently dropped my mobile (car) trackable in a cache I visited. I tried to "grab" it back but it would not let me. How do I grab it back? Thank you!

This topic has generated a lot of talk! I like geocaching for the adventure of each hunt. I expect each one to be different so nothing really throws me. But the one think that does irk me is people who do not log trackables (TBs, geocoins, etc.) Come on! If you are not going to be able to move it along (size, etc.) then do not pick it up! One more thing . . . rules should be changed that a cache can not be hid until the owner has found at least 50 caches (or something like that). I have recently tried to find caches that the owner has found 3 caches. Seriously! One person had only found 1 cache and decided to hide one. It was, of course, on private property without permission! That cache was archieved (and lots of cachers upset - that FTF thing). Enough! I love caching and am so thankful to everone who has ever hide a cache!

I started caching with a Geomate Jr. I did not know what I was doing so it was great for exploring. Then the new Garmin Etrex series came out. After reading all the reviews and comments I decided to go with the 10. It was nice going paperless - especially after the Geomate. But now I can see the difference. A t first it was alright with downloading the caches. But when I tried to download a PQ it said the memory was too full. I find that it will only hold around 500 caches at one time. So if you download some area caches then download caches for where you are traveling the 10 fills up quickly! If I could back track I would get the 20.

Good question! I was wondering the same thing! I don't think that is possible but am curious as to the answer.

On the flip side, I Found a "missing TB". I did not know it at the time but when I went to log it the TB was not listed in the cache I found it in. I grabbed it. I put the name of the cache I grabbed it from in the log. Then I sent an email to the owner to let him know I found it. He was very glad. . . thought it had been lost for several years! You just never know. Never give up hope . .

I'm an Atlanta area cacher and found the needed information yesterday. I am ready to trade information so I can check this cache off my list. Never mind I figured it out. It was the compatability mode. That fixed it. Thanks!
