  1. There is now an exciting new cache in New Jersey that will perhaps help create a pool of candidates !!!!

New Jersey's First Clothing Optional Geocache

Even though it appears to be located in a public soccer field, perhaps the idea may spread all over the world !

This one has bees going in Florida now for a couple of years

    Owasso Shalom Clothing Optional Cache

The is a cache in DeAnzaSpringsResort inJacumba,Ca GC2m92a

  2. There were so many posts to my "nudist geocachers" post ,I wonder if we could start a group. Would cachers in so cal want to go on a nude caching?

Please excuse my pet peeve, but can you guys type out "Southern California" instead of SoCal? I find that sooooo annoying!

    Knowschad, from MidMin.

I would argue you're not MidMin.

Anyhow, with all the deer flies this year this is not the year to try nude caching though now I've found a bunch which I could have attempted nude.

I use Cutter skinsations with pretty good protection.
  3. I have great respect ,admiration and thanks for all who served. All GI's past and present have an unbreakable bond. I spent 7 years in the Air Force in the 60's and am proud of every minute. As cachers, clowns ,cowboys, car salesmen or clergy we have that link forever. Like myself, many nudists were servicemen too. Bless 'em all.Thank them all.

  4. Are there any other nudist geocachers out there. Do you do nude searches? I am a nudist and want to search the more remote areas of so cal nude.

What about a nude cache event

I still don't know how many people we could get in one area. Maybe we could have a nude caching day with emails and pix of all participants. Many areas I know of would be overrun by a group but are cool for small groups.
  5. If I said, "hi, I'm dorqie.", most people would say, "you sure are!"

    most people would!

I actually didn't realize I would have to use it in the real world so much when I first started geocaching. If I had known people would come to know my by this name I would have chosen something...cooler.

I say I'm Jaygonude and they usually say yup you are.

  6. I have never geocached in the nude but do routinely cache barefoot. (Feel free to peruse my profile gallery for some examples.) I've never had any trouble with terrain but have received some interesting reactions from people - one grounds worker at a mall once wrote down my tag number even after explaining what I was doing! He couldn't get his head around the idea that a grown man would go barefoot so I have to wonder what a stranger would think if they came across someone in the buff. I would have to know with 100% certainty that no one else is on the trail before I'd even think of stripping because the potential for frightening someone or receiving unwanted attention from law enforcement officers is too high.

[/quote We use a little common sense hiking and geocahing nude. The farther out from town it is the less chance you meet anybody. Around here we are just as likely to see other nude hikers as you are dressed ones.

I'm curious. How would the thrill of geocaching be different when done sans clothing?

No difference.Just with comfort of being nude in nature

  8. I would give a standing ovation to those that can do this nude. There are days wearing a tank top leaves me look like a scratched up mess and I get enough hurt through my clothes through somethings that I can't imagine how not cool it would feel naked.

lol. When I go hiking if I don't pick up several good scratches I feel like I didn't get my money's worth. When you do it nude you just walk a little slower and be more watchful. Jay
