Now THAT's what I'm talkin' about!!!!! Extreme Caching
THIS WEBSITE IS AWESOME. WONDER HOW LONG TILL THERE'S A CACHE FROM SAN DIEGO ON ONE OF THE CACHE LISTS.
I'm not sure I know of any that would qualify in San Diego. I know of some in NY & NJ...
"Adrenaline" isn't xTreme, but perhaps somewhat daring. ... you know, for old guys.
No, wait, that one that Passing Wind and D-Jollymon were flushed out of during the
rainstorm. You should recall that one FlagMan. Of course it was seasonally xTreme.
Just finished looking at a few of the caches on the Extreme Caching site..Gonna need to shed alot of lbs and start lifting weights...Gotta learn how to use ropes etc...Mrs.K isn't too excited about the training we will need...gonna think about this some more

Just this morning I was admiring and counting my collection of
Yrium cards and realized that I have 111 cards in the set. Sad,
I know, an old man in his rocking chair with nothing to do but
count his collector-cards.
I suspect that my set of cards is incomplete with regard to a
small number of misprints; however, I'd rather not know for
sure. Perfect ain't possible ....
What I've learned from Yrium cards is that being a collector
is not an easy thing be. Collecting can drive you insane ...
bwah-hah-hah!
On the other hand I hear a rumor going around that soon my
collection will grow by two and I anxiously await their release.
Wonder what a twelve-step program for Yrium-card collecting
would be like? Imagine what FlagMan goes through to support
a tiny esoteric cult of Yrium-card collectors. Imagine how I feel
about yet-another dash to Max's Favorite Park for my share of
the cards. I can see it happening, one day I'll flip out over it
and unbunch my socks. Bwah-hah-hah!
Got inspired to hide a few. Dropped Team Reid Yrium Memorial Card#26
The Kiss Of Midnight Yrium TNG #1
at Clean Up...Clean Up..Has Moved! by kwvers! (GC1WMBJ)
-
I went by Max's Favorite Park and checked on the supply. Sure enough, all the GMS cards are gone but there were still 8x TNG#10 cards. I added 10x TNG#10 cards, so now there are 18 of those left. I'll try and drop some more GMS cards soon.
PLEASE DON'T TAKE ENTIRE SETS OF THE GMS CARDS. JUST TAKE ONE GMS CARD AND ONE TNG#10 CARD PER PERSON.
Thanks, -FlagMan
I knew it would happen one day ... an Yrium-card best seller.
Couldn't have been for a better cause, rest in peace Ginger!.
Pardon me for saying so but, knowing that we all must go
some day, from what I hear Ginger! had a proper ending to
an old country-dog's life. ... brought a reverent smile to my
face when, later on, I considered what lead to the incident.
Go Ginger!.
BnB was true to her word and gave us TNG#10 and only one of the Ginger Memorial Cards..We chose #5...
Saw the entire set which is being spread out..Thanks BnB

I honestly don't like the word muggle, seriously, what the F$#K is a muggle. I could care less what they call them, but why use a stupid word. Why not call them lurkers or something that is an actuall word???
Thats just what I think
Why call them geocaches? Call them something that's an actual word or something.

9:35 pm
Stopped by Doctor's Order's this evening for a headlamp search in our home territory. First local/urban cache I've looked for in quite some time. Left a YMS #24 Flintstones card and a YMS #24 Flintstones misprint. Took a YNG #1 Kiss of Midnight and a YNG #9 Harmon misprint (French street scene?).
Also swapped a pink lizard for a YMS #12 Devhead Red Stapler misprint to pass along to Harmon in the event he doesn't get one before they are gone. No charge, Harmon. I already have one from back when they first came out and there were only a few in circulation. It was quite a competition to snag one. As I recall, it was placed in a cache near another Wood Rat nest - in the Black Mountain area.
-GD
Don,
Thanks pal. I'm going nuts wanting to get up there for one of those
red-stapler cards. Maybe with luck I'll make it this week.
Harmon
Zoomed out of the house this morning and made my way to Shaka Island.
Picked up the cards that were there and will be trading/hiding any duplicates I have.. Thanks for the fun! Yippee!

I was wondering if anyone new where a good place for a 100+ cache day?
Palm Springs, Las Vegas, The NO CLUE Series, The Tarot Series, Sacramento, Lancaster. Just check the KWVERS!'s logs..they do it all the time. .
Yeah...what they said.
What is the NO CLUE series and the Tarot Series.
NO CLUE series

Tarot Series
http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...37-5ffb49c629c1
The No Clue series is in East Lancaster, the Tarot series in West Lancaster. Each series will net you about 90 caches plus any additional nearby caches.
fantastic series for the numbers

Buena Park has a high concentration of urban caches - 1300 caches within a 10-mile radius of zip code 90620. Or 100 caches within 2.6 miles. But, I warn you know, filter out the twopoms caches.
ditto
