again, exact same problem. The second Mapsend CD will not run. There has to be a workaround? anybody?

Hi folks, Old problem that seems to still exist. I have an old copy of Mapsend topo Canada that I purchased years ago that will not work on todays computer. The package consists of 2 discs. The First disc is the install software CD. This install CD will only load part way when I get "can't install drivers error -2". Was able to fix this problem buy running the install CD in XP compatibility mode(WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 2). The problem now is that when I insert the second CD with the Map Data on it, it will not Run or open no mater what I try. There is nothing wrong with the CD itself as other people have run into the same problem. I know that it is really old software that I am trying to run on more update computers but there has to be a work around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you, Robert

Hi, I have an explorist 500 that is loaded with Software version 2.03. I would like to upgrade the unit with magellans latest software but when I look on the magellan site I am not sure if I should be downloading version EU2.57(this may be for European models only) or version NA2.18. My location is in Canada an any help from anyone who has done a software update to their 500 would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you Robert
