Now what happened is that before I try to uninstall and reinstall the GE and thought to check if the problem is there if I use DirectX mode and OpenGL mode. First I tried with DirectX and the problem was there then I switched to OpenGL and the problem is gone. Saved me the trouble to uninstall and reinstall teh GE

I checked this on anotehr machine and it was fine, no problem at all. Only my machine have this issue. I will uninstall and reinstall Ge again.

I upgraded to the latest beta of GE. But still having same issue . I might check on some other computor.

When you are in GE, and have your Route displayed, Right Click on the Route/Edit/Check in the Advanced box/ then under the Style/Lines tab, you can change the Color, Width, and Opacity of your route. I did as you told. I can change the color and the opacity of the line. Now about the width, by default, it is 1.0 pixels. if I change to a bigger number say 3, 4 or teh line does no change in width on the map. Not sure what is going wrong Someone also having this issue?

I have searched Dead Pixel in this fourm but no results were found. I have a dead pixel on my GPSMAP 60CS. It is about center of the display. Anyone else having dead pixels? Can number of dead pixel increase in future?

OK, sorry for the late reply becasue I was busy. Yes my Track Log was turned off and I had reset the Altimeter. Now I enabled teh Track Log again and the Graph is back Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.

Well, I use GPSMAP 60CS her ein Hogn Kong. I might be wrong but it seems taht i can't load anyother map in this GPSr except MapSource one. I have MapSource WorldMap and it is very basic for Hong Kong. Map dta is quite old as well. Airport i shown as Kai Tak where as it was moved to CLK on Lantau Island almost 8 years ago. It aslso shows Hong Kong has only one road However, some other cities of the world has little bit more details.

The only thing I am not sure is how to TURN ON AND OFF the altimeter as suggested above by stevesisti. I did not noice thsi option anywhere while I was playing with my GPS. As c\for calling Garmin with this issue, well, I am nto very sure about it as I am in Hong Kong and I bought this unit through GPSCity.com I am sure Garmin does not have have any servcie center here in Hong Kong.

Hi. I have my GPSMAP 60CS for few days now. It used to display green color graph in Altimeter page. But now when I go to Altimeter Page it shows working... for few sec but whne working... is gone the graph does not appear. I have reset the the values, restored the to delfault setting but the green color graph does not appear. How can I bring it back? The second question is how can I reset whole of the unit to factory set? This is my first GPS, please help me if you can in bringing this altimeter graph back. Thanks, Nick
