Just read this on the link provided by longtomsilver, "Note: It may take several weeks for the photo to be taken and sent back to Earth."
Thought it was supposed to be only a few days, but we all might have a significant wait ahead of us.

Not sure how this thread went from eye-gouging and blood letting evil evergreen caches to a debate about micros in trees, but we all have our own peeves, I guess.

As far as I'm concerned, ALL EVERGREENS SHOULD BE OFF LIMITS. Here in Colorado it seems like every cache is in a pine or a juniper. The fun-factor is greatly reduced when you know every time you geocache, you're going to come home bloody. I would appreciate the use of some imagination, for a change!
I used the term "evergreen" to avoid the notion that I was only concerned with pine trees. I wanted to include the many dioecious conifers, like juniper, as well. Around here, and most of the country, I suspect, junipers are around almost every landscape feature and everyone seems to gravitate toward them for caches. You end up having to pull up, dig through, and crawl under every scratchy one of them anywhere near a GZ. Uuugh!

As noted in other replies to this thread there are Wherigo smartphone app players available for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and even (I think) Blackberry.None of the etrex models (including the etrex 20) support playing Wherigo cartridges.
That's disappointing.
Any way to use my PC to get the info and use the cartridges? There are a lot of Whereigos in my area and I'd like to access the coordinates, if possible. I can't believe that they can only be found if I use one of only a couple of (expensive) GPS units listed in Wherigo. ThanksIf you have alot of the "locationless" / "quiz" types of Wherigos popping up around you, it may be worth looking to see if they are playable in the emulator (available at http://www.Wherigo.com/builder/download.aspx). Many are. For example, I noticed that the "Wingin'It Wherigo" series located near your hidden caches are playable on a PC with the emulator.

Can anyone explain, to a semi-computer-literate person, how to use Wherigo with my etrex 20? The only Garmin listed for downloading cartridges is the "Colorado". and my etrex 20 won't seem to work.
