I do not have a Mac or run Vista.
Some of the more dumb things to look for;
Is the unit turned on?
Is the port enabled?
Are you using a USB cable to connect with? Did you install the drivers for the cable? I did not know my cable came with a CD with drivers, sure did work a lot better afterward! LOL
You can ask garmin for help by phone. They have a great support staff that are more than willing to help you with your problems.

I can't wait for the darn snow to go away so I can go find one to start with!
Lorne
Why wait? Search for caches that have the 'winter friendly' icon, and you can cache in the winter, too!.
adamsloco
Winter friendly icon! will have to have a look for that now.

Awesome! We are just beginning my Geocaching adventures, and was thrilled to find that Parks Can has a policy. We will be sure to respect it.
Are there any specific rules pertaining to our "Geocaching canine"? Must admit, the 4-legged boy likes to join us every time!
Thanks so much!

In Jasper National Park, dogs have to be on a leash. Not sure where you would find this but know this as daughter lives there in Jasper with her dogs.

We run the same software on a different site but a newer version 2.2.0 and have no problem with hotmail or msn in the email part of the program.
Spammers, now that is a nightmare as we delete 20+ spammers per day trying to gain access.

I think I got it ... I saw the bus and here's the numbers from the dump truck ... 3539. Google Earth at this level is very cool ... The first bubble I dropped into has the bus approaching a 7/11 store. I would never have known that Japan had 7/11's. I'm heading off to Paris now and who knows after that ...talk about armchair travelling!
That is it, it is 3539. Yes, there is a 7-11 near there as well!
Take it away ImaMystic.
If you haven't answered this question then maybe give it a try, it is a lot of fun to navigate through cities in this fashion.
Way to go ImaMystic!
That took awhile to figure out but I finally did get it! lol
Very cool.

Found the intersection but no dump truck. Bus, cars, orange taxi.etc. but no dump truck that I can see. Might be in the wrong place too! lol Figured out how to look from the side.
Will look some more

Did you try "The Source". Was there a few weeks back looking for a USB cable to connect the Etrac PC cable too and I think(?) I saw one there, maybe.

Hello to all, What a wonderful site this is! Long time lurker for sure. Just received a Garmin etrax legend.:-)
Also got the Topo maps of Canada for it too.
Haven't had much time yet to get out and try to enjoy the unit, too cold and way to much snow! lol
My question is;
Can the Garmin topo maps be loaded onto a Magellan unit?
Have browsed through the site here and did not find anything, I might of missed it too.
Great site here folks.
