  1. A group of about 20 old tvs in neat stacks of four of or five in a place in the woods where it would have taken some effort to put them there.
  2. Yes, the giant stuff is the bad one, I guess. I saw a report of it around Ottawa.
  3. Anyone know anything about "Hog Weed"? We are starting to see some scary reports about this plant in Ontario. Apparently it makes poison ivy look downright benign.
  4. GSAK. But, it's still one at a time, but it's much easier as you can do it from a selected list using a macro. Thanks, I use GSAK. I will give your suggestion a look.
  5. Is it possible to bookmark a group of caches to a bookmark list instead of one cache at a time? If so, how? Thanks
  6. I enter my home town and province in the "zoom to address" box at the upper right and it works. That's as far as I have gotten with it, although I don't use this feature much.
  7. From the Southern Ontario area. Really enjoyed some caches in Cape Breton a couple of years ago.
  8. Just got my results on a pq I set up to try out the "create a route" function. Took about 10 minutes.

    GC down

Thanks, folks. Hope you get some holiday time. Happy Fourth, all you folks in the US.
  10. Go to the home page for Groundspeak. Go to "My Profile" then find "View My Account Details" near the bottom right. Then scroll down to "My Membership". Mine says "Your membership will renew on".....and the date is given. I guess if it doesn't say that then your membership renewal is not automatic.
  11. There is a problem...obviously. You along with everyone else is just going to have to wait until it's fixed. Getting upset about it won't make it be fixed any faster. Really.
  12. Still nothing after waiting all day. And YES, the site says I have already signed the agreement.
  13. Just to pile on, not working for me either.
  14. Poison ivy twice. Now I wear long pants no matter how hot it is. I stepped on a nest of little red ants in Florida. The bites didn't seem that bad but took Forever to heal.
  15. This probably is not helpful, but you can click and drag your starting point around on the driving directions map when on my PC. I have no idea if you can do this on an iphone as I don't have one.
  16. I like the bookmark lists but I agree that the above suggestions are good.
  17. I turned this up: To this day, sou is used as slang a small coin of little value, as in sans le sou. "I'm broke", "without money". It is also a slang term for the Canadian cent (standard French, cent).
  18. GCK30W This is one on the Cabot Trail (among others). Try to do the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton and the cache I have mentioned. Enjoy your trip.
  19. Like the "driving directions" feature on the cache pages.
  20. I've had one for years. I'm in southern Ontario.
  21. Hmm...I currently have 22. And I agree with TotemLake...that should be noted somewhere on the site...like in the Premium Member features or on the Bookmark page itself. I just spent quite a bit of time looking for a restriction like that all over the site, logging out and logging in....very frustrating. Being able to create bookmark lists is one of the main reasons why I became a Premium Member. Do the "Archived" lists count in that tally or are they gone for good once they've been archived? They don't count. I just condensed my 2006 HOTM bookmarks to one, and archived the old ones and now I can create more for 2008. Oh yah, you have to delete all the caches in the list before you can archive. One (well alright two) requests I would have for this option is a button to Select All or Delete All. It was tedious to have to select each cache then do a bulk delete. The other request would be to select a radio selection to archive the list with it doing the cache list deletion in all one fell swoop. If I understand you correctly: If you click on the green check mark at the top of the list of caches it will select all of the caches. You may then delete them all in one fell swoop (or click)
  22. The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton is a must see. Follow the trail and do the caches as you go.
  23. Yes, it happens to me too when I switch from my pc to my laptop or back. I have to reload the driver most of the time but not every time. Go figure. I finally put a shortcut to the driver on my desktop.
