For whatever reason I need to sell these. What's the best way to sell coins? Some are activated and some aren't. Most don't have miles. Should I put them on Epay? Should I sell them as a group? Example, the whole group of Signal coins for 2006. How would you do it? Thanks

I have a question. I need to get rid of some coins and I wondered what would be the best way? I have two 2006 sets of signal coins. One set is actavated and one set isn't, would it be better to sell or auction the not activated set one coin at a time or as a one year set? What about the activated set of coins? April Signal May Signal May Coin Club June Coin Club I see the May CC is shipping this week OT here. Not wanting to hijack the thread. I wonder if there will be an icon for the March Signal coin? (hint) The Tentative June CC is an odd shape, but I'm just one of the few that don't like the odd shaped coins. I just relate coins to being a round flat item. Maybe they should be called tokens, but then it would be The Token Club or TTC.

No. I just saw the preview of the May and June coins on the website. I just looked also, I like the traditional round coin myself, but I do see more of the "odd" shaped coins coming out.

ScottN2ZUS would be the rarest. I have a ScottN8ZUS coin but have never seen or heard of a ScottN2ZUS coin I think the best/rarest coin I have seen is the ABXGUY TC WINTER CONVERGENCE V coin. Does the March Signal coin have a generic icon or is it just me?

That's confusing Scott, if I put your coin (Now my coin, because I paid for it) on Ebay, people would bid more for it then if it was your auction? I'm not getting rid of the N8ZUS coin so it's reduntant. I did get your coin today and it is a very nice coin, it will look good in Cathi's collection. I'll be taking it to the 2006 NMG Spring Picnic for people to log. I like the icon also, it stands out!

Scott, I'm not sure why you are worried about getting rid of extra coins so soon. The ones people have ordered aren't even shipped yet. I do hope it goes well for you, and if you are into the coin collecting the extras that you may have left will make good trade material! Do you have an idea how many have sold so far? Hi Scott. I don't know how others think about this, but I'll want a refund of $.50 for the coins I already payed for! Just kidding Scott. We weren't buying any personal coins at all, but because we met you and it is an amateur radio theam, we ordered 2 I think. I think most people that make the personal coins, are in the mind to trade for other personal coins, not to make money on them. Do you know when they will ship? Good luck Harry

I just looked at the ones that I got and noticed on one of the coins that there is paint missing. CACHE IN 2006, the CA isn't colored in. Does this make it a rare error coin and worth thousands?

I used N8GNI's computer to log some stuff, and without logging in under my account, I activated a coin. Is there a way to get it back to show me as the owner? Thank you Cathi

I contacted you about the poor quality of the 2 coins I received and have received no response....... We got 1 today and besides the grind marks on the edge and cracks and bubbles in the paint, it's not a bad looking coin. Now onto another problem, has anybody activated a Signal coin and then tried to drop it somewhere? People can grab it from us, we can grab it back, but if we have it and goto a cache page, it doesn't show in our inventory. We dropped all our other bugs at an event, we have the box at the bottom when we goto log the event, but all the box shows is " None Selected" . Something is there but it's not this fine looking Signal coin? Any ideas? Hints?

I Got 10 of them and I think they look great!.. I checked everyone of them closely and could not find a single flaw. Honestly I think some people in these forums just have it out for the guys at the geocoinclub/geocoinstore and the fact that they are making money on geocoins. OH MY GOODNESS PEOPLE ARE MAKING MONEY AND TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING So my advice to all the whiners is to stop buying them so we don't have to hear you complain. </rant> Now wait a minute, you can't call other people whiners or accuse them of being upset over the fact that the geocoinstore is making money when your viewpoint isn't very neutral at all. First, you live in MI thus most likely a member of MIGO (Yes, I am assuming, shoot me.) and you had your coins done by the geocoinstore. Of course, you are going to be a poster person for the store. So I guess I can continue to whine if I want to. The problem is that I can't whine about them because I haven't received them yet. You could whine about not having them yet? I live in Michigan so I get to pay Sales Tax (6.000%): $0.60 USD. I'm also a member of MiGo, for whatever that has to do with anything? I don't have the 2 coins that I ordered yet, but from seeing the picture a few post back, I think the black paint over the lettering is ugly, but then again, I don't count. I did see one at an event last Sunday and even tho I didn't have it in my hands, I think it looked pretty good from five feet away I don't know about anybody else, but I hope to be able to get all 12 for a years worth!

Don't feel too bad. I saw one at an event last weekend, (the coin I saw looked ok, I didn't look at it very close, tho there was alot of black on the coin) but I still don't have the ones I ordered and I live in the same state as the Coin Club, I even get to pay sales tax on the coins . This delay might be due to the fact that I didn't order them in January but in late Febuary and it might just be a first come first served thing, but 6 days of mailings seems like alot?
