  1. I'll get a 'London Event' set up this week for the 12th June. Watch this space.
  2. ...so was the one in the capital. London, United Kingdom
  3. Interestingly enough the 'Aviation Viewing Park' is in the exclusion zone. Shall we ring the police to say that muggles are acting suspiciously there?
  4. I left my Geocaching Moleskine note book on a park bench where a micro was hidden underneath it in central London, it was found a day later still in situ by Rodz who kindly rang me whilst I was caching nearby. We met up and a reunion was made. Thanks Rodz.
  5. Perhaps our little island has drifted 25 and 150 m away from Europe.
  6. Anyone for 10 Years! Eyjafjallajökull But, I hear it's gone up in smoke.
  7. [space] Mr Bee Keeper has give us the go ahead, thank-you sir. Roll up, roll up we need at least 10 party goers... 10 Years! London
  8. I have submitted an event for London, watch this space.
  9. I see we have no '10 Years!' event in London. Would anyone be interested if I organised an event on the Friday evening (30th April, which is now permitted) in the City? I shall checkout a couple of venues tonight and see if I can make a booking. I know it's a tough job, (chatting up landlords and beer tasting) but someone has to do it.
  10. Then there's the 10th Anniversary of the first English Geocache in June; Clicky here And there's another event at Greenwich park (which I'm sure SP doesn't mind me advertising); Clicky there
  11. Good gracious, no! Regent's Park, my good man. I've gone back into my hole about archived caches.
  12. I'm going for one day next Tuesday! Fly there, drive around, bag some caches then fly back all for under 70 quid!
  13. What is the protocol for logging a find for an archived cache in the following situations? 1/ One finds a cache still in situ complete with logbook etc. Should it be log it as a find? 2/ I'm planning a caching event at a location where one of my caches used to be but it had to be archived because of Royal Parks change of rules (but we won't go down that road), could I allow cachers log it as a find if I'm at GZ with the cache during the duration of the event? 3/ I'm holding an event at a historic cache location (which since have been archived), if, with permission of the owner of the original cache, could/should I place a cache at GZ for the duration of the event so that we could count this as a find? Your thoughts please...
  14. Sorry GP, I didn't know. Honest! ...it's alright, I'll be at this caching event.
  15. Leave that with me, I'll organise an event for you for the 12th June.
  16. ...now 1,001,890 active geocaches! Any bets on when 2,000,000 is announced? Half the time it took to get to 1 million! So, in 5 years time.
  17. Been there, got the tick (on the second go). Best of luck! You may need some rope too!
  18. Er.....you're almost right. It was the Baltic, so I was rightly disqualified! Well done SP. ...actually, it looks like the Gulf of Finland.
  19. We may be able to organise an event for you during your visit to London. Do you have any dates yet?
  20. Are our home co-ords visible to others? Yes, you live at Mottisfont Abbey
