  1. Is there and British cachers listed in the world's top 10 Itsnotaboutthenumbers chart? If not, why? -GOLDPOT-
  2. Go for it! See if you can keep it going as long as you can. I was pleased with 17 days, but the nearby caches ran out. BTW, if I changed my home "state" to California, I'd sneak in to the top ten for "best day" caching for California ..oh, dear what I have I got myself into Lucky for me, living in London I have plenty of caches nearby to keep me going for a while. Right, where shall I go hunting after work???...Hilly Fields, Enfield, that hasn't been done for a while. goldpot
  3. ...at last I've finally worked out how to download my stats Still learning about this new addiction I see I got my name into 3 UK top ten categories ...I suppose I should fly the flag for Britain by running for a slot in the world top ten 'most consecutive days of caching'! What do you say fellow cachers? goldpot
  4. 682! He has to be off his trolley! 111 to get in the top 10 is acheivable and I'm nearly half way there. Right, must dash, there're caches to be found! goldpot
  5. ...doctor, doctor I can't stop caching - if I find a cache today (Staplehurst, Kent I have on the cards) it will be 50 consecutive days of caching Question is, should I still continue or be locked up??? -GOLDPOT-
  6. ...well done. That would take me 112 consecutive days to do! -GOLDPOT-
  7. I found the most westerly cache in the UK at W008'10.751 Bradoge Bridge, Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland over the Easter Break. Although there may be a dispute with this one to whether it's in the UK or the RoI...my GPS map clearly puts it in the UK, but the OS map puts it in RoI and the roads are Irish too...To be sure, I also did the nearest cache to it that is certainly in the UK! Will Simply Paul beat this with his caching expedition to St Kilda which is further west??? -GOLDPOT- PS...I'll find my 500th cache tomorrow!
  8. Surely there must be a mistake, you mean to say that we don't have many obsessed cachers in the UK? It means I take the lead as I'm still counting...only 35 consecutive days of caching P.S. FoF, did you enjoy finding 'Up Yours' cache recently?
  9. ...this subject isn't dead yet! I have hunted down caches everyday since the 28th Feburary 2007 What is the UK record to date (I see someone in America has clocked up over 600 consecutive days of caching - I'm not that mad and I do have a day job to do!)? -GOLDPOT-
  10. I would love to see UK counties displayed...pre1975 county and riding boundaries though
  11. Forgive me if this subject has been mention before, but, what do UK cachers think if we could have our caches noted in one of the 4 countries that make up the UK? The reason I ask is that in New Zealand you can log your caches as in North or South Island, Belgium in their regions, Australia, Canada and USA in their States, but in England, Wales and Scotland it must be UK, however, in Northern Ireland caches can be noted either in Ireland or the UK! Do we need to go further and note caches in counties? It would help to identified where the caches are on the logs. What is the thought out there? Regards, goldpot
  12. ...another fine mess I have made with the preivous message! Goldpot here, the head gardener of Regent's Park, London. I have a cache in our secret garden (not so secret to the cachers though!) If you want I could place a engagement ring in the cache for you!!! Now that would be romantic regards, goldpot
